Melanie C - Stages

-Official Facebook page: New Album ‘Stages’ Released This September

Melanie has been busy putting the finishing touches to her album 'Stages'. The record, produced by long time collaborator Peter-John Vettese, features a collection of songs from the theatre that have been important to Melanie at various stages of her life.

‘Stages’ is scheduled to be released in September. The final track list is close to being decided so keep checking back to see what treats we have in store for you over the next few months!

What a nice surprise! Wow...
The Sea is a masterpiece and really great... if Stages will be nearly as good as The Sea, then i'm more than happy

But i hope she will have a little bit more success now. She deserves it!

EXCITED. The Sea was a GEM and it was one of my favorite albums of 2011. Very underrated album that should've gotten more success. I have high expectations for this. 8-)

It seems she is the only Spice Girl at the moment releasing music.

I wonder how she can keep recording albums without success? Her last "successful" album was Beautiful Intentions 7 years ago.

Does she have other incomes to keep her recording career going on?

Yeah, she does musicals: Blood Brothers a couple of years ago, and now Jesus Christ Superstar.

Plus, all of her releases are through her own independent label.

I think she earns enough from performing, plus the SP world tour surely earned a lot and after all she has her own record label ...

She sells alot for an indie artist. By a major labels standards she's awful but considering she funds it herself and then takes the money herself she's fine.

I think she has a lot of money saved from the Spice Girls. They were too huge to not save anything. And then 2008 world tour.

Northern Star was great success, Reason was ok, Beautiful Intentions was kinds of success too ... she toured a lot and other projects.

Does anybody knows her WW sales ? I know that NS sold about 4 million copies WW, Reason and BI around 1 million ...

~@CroatiaXtina: The SEA was a good album, specially the lead single, even her EP with Jordie was quite good... "Think About It" is immense for me! I love her music, you should try it at least

And honestly, I don't know how to feel about this since I want her to release another pop album :lol:

That's what she's the best at tbh!!!
