One of the most popular rock bands in the US in the 90s was Stone Temple Pilots. Initially dismissed as Pearl Jam-lite, they found their own sound and had a string of smash hits that continue to get played to this day. They broke up in 2002 after the members got tired of lead singer Scott Weiland's addictions, but after he cleaned up, reunited with him and released an album in 2010.
