oooh...looks like you've been loving Overexposed too :D you should definitely be pleased with my newest chart then, although you're not charting a couple of my absolute faves so far ("Wipe Your Eyes", "Fortune Teller").

M5 aside, I'm lovin' all those classic Mariah entries too! <3

Great to see "Bad Romance". I consider it as Lady Gaga's best song to date. Glad B is back! :D

<3 all the Maroon 5 entries. "Overexposed" is phenomenal. 8-) From the album, my favourites are "Wipe Your Eyes", "The Man Who Never Lied", "Payphone" and "Doin' Dirt". Oh, and did my Mariah countdown allow you to re-discover the gems that are "Can't Take That Away", "Butterfly" and "Close My Eyes"? Hopefully your opinion of them (well, for "Close My Eyes") has changed quite a little and hopefully, you like them better now. I've been in a Mariah mood lately too; and she has accumulated more than 70 plays yesterday alone. She may make quite the impact on my chart next week. I checked out "Trumpet Lights" and it isn't that bad, but I'm pretty sure Chris had better. Whilst both the Lana tracks aren't exactly my top favourites from the record, they're still exceptional and different from the current music today. "I Was Here" seems to be a recurring entry that enters very often, and deservingly so at that. 8-)

Maroon 5 should have considerably less entries today as it'll be somewhat of a takeover from one of my fave Pop artists.

I think "Bad Romance" is probably Gaga's best song too. It's between that one and "Telephone" for me. :)

I haven't heard "Wipe Your Eyes" so I suppose that one's on the deluxe edition? I'll be sure to check it out later. And yes, your MC countdown has been making me check out those songs so I guess my chart's experiencing the Tripolis-countdown effect. And I was going to mention it in your thread but you've opened up my eyes to "Close My Eyes". The song's actually pretty good. I'm even considering re-visiting the entire Butterfly record.

70 plays for MC in a single day? :o You're definitely a hardcore lamb! How many plays does she have in total? And from which date? Since January 1st of this year, I've played MC's songs a total of 1,666 times. She's far and away my most played artist for 2012. I'm thankful that you at least checked out "Trumpet Lights". The song's grown off of me a bit because, like you said, it's not his best. "Born To Die" and "Summertime Sadness" are my ultimate faves from Lana! Those two just do something to my soul.

I hope you like "Wipe Your Eyes"! That track is one of Maroon 5's finest IMO. Great to see that my countdown has allowed you to love "Close My Eyes" even more now. I hope that "Whenever You Call" will grow on you now since you are planning on re-listening to the "Butterfly" record again. Mariah has accumulated probably around 2,500 plays from October last year (iTunes figures) and is increasing steadily.

Have to check out Pink's new single. Céline Dion songs are great - "That's The Way It Is" is one of her finest and I have been spinning that quite a lot this week too. Sad to see that the Maroon 5 tracks have dropped off quite a little - hopefully they'll be back soon. As usual, the Mariah entries are always welcome and the Lana tracks are great. I do think that "Lucky Ones" and "National Anthem" are the best Lana songs off your chart.

Maybe i'm enjoying less tracks than yesterday, but your #1 is better than basically every song of your previous chart. Love also P!nk new single, it's not that strong but it's a nice pop tune.

hmmm...I still have to give the final version of that new P!nk song a listen, but I'm definitely glad to see:

- "Lead The Way" back in your Top 2. maybe it could inch up a spot today and spend its 2nd day at No. 1...?

- "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" back in your Top 20. as I've said before, I don't know Céline's discography very well, but out of the singles of hers that I have heard, that's definitely one of my favorites. "there were nights of endless pleasure, it was more than all your laws allow..."

Aw, I missed Maroon 5 being on top by one day but I do love Lucky Strike - it's one of my favourites.

Echoing Paul's statement about not knowing much Celine but love It's All Coming Back To Me Now. :)

I've played that P!nk song about twenty times already and it's growing on me...slowly though. "Raise Your Glass" was a lot more instant.

"We Found Love" might actually fall out today due to an influx of new entries.

This is off-topic but I just noticed your location. You're a DH fan too? :o That's my all-time fave TV show! <3

Tripolis wrote:]I hope you like "Wipe Your Eyes"!

2,500 plays? Impressive figure! I am still astounded by Mariah's impressive discography. When I discovered Britney I didn't think I'd ever find someone else's music that I loved more but I think MC might have proven that thought wrong. :-?

As for Maroon 5's quick dropout, male acts don't tend to last very long on my chart unless accompanied by a female artist. P!nk's new single isn't quite as hot as I expected it to be but due to me playing it like a madman, it might climb a spot or two today. "Lucky Ones" is absolutely fantastic. It's easily in my Top 3 faves from Born To Die.

Maybe i'm enjoying less tracks than yesterday, but your #1 is better than basically every song of your previous chart. Love also P!nk new single, it's not that strong but it's a nice pop tune.
I knew you'd love the #1! :D I share your thoughts on P!nk's new single. :)

"Lead The Way" is set to be denied that top spot yet again today and as for "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", that one's a favourite to top my upcoming Céline tribute. #ShamelessPromo

I think "Lucky Strike" is the best song on the album but overall the record (pleasantly) surprised me. Glad to see you love that track from Ms. Dion. 8-)

Linkin's new album is quite good, way better than the previous one.

well, you already know how I feel about "Blow Me" so far, so I won't take up much time on that now ;) on one hand, I'm glad to see "Wipe Your Eyes" debut....but on the other hand, I'm a bit sad/surprised that it could only manage No. 17. is that the Linkin Park effect (keeping M5 down in general today), or do you really just not like the song that much? little of both?

any rate, lovely to see those Whitney re-entries, of course. <3
