True, I'm confusing it with something else I can't remember. Maybe "A Night With Beyoncé".
Beyonce, while filming ANWB, apologized to her fans for not being able to perform LOT, because her voice was too tired. Why would she say that if she was lipping it indeed?
Very good point, I don't think she lip synced the LOT performances (aside from Revel which I havn't seen yet so can't have an opinion).

YES!!!! Couldn't agree more. One of my all time favorite performances, everything about it was pure AMAZING and Beyonce's vocals were so fierce throughout. Loved the way that she changed the song as well.

LOL, my a$$ is about to get stoned.

For me, there's absolutely no way she ever sang Love On Top live. I'm sorry, all the performances sound the same. I'm not saying she didn't pause for her fans to sing, but that's not evidence of anything.

What about anyone giving me two performances different. Just show me. If you are so sure, show me 2 performances where she doesn't sound the same and I'll believe it.

Most of you know me, I'm no wasp ( ). I'd love you to show me she's not lip syncing... But I'm afraid that's not gonna happen.

^^Your premise of her lip syncing is really based on nothing other than your perception of sound. Even though it's difficult to prove whether she was lip syncing Love on Top or not, it's more likely she did sing live considering how seemingly easy it is for her to sing difficult songs without prerecorded vocals. And as stated before, you have no credible basis for your claim.

^^Blover I'll always be with you, boi.

I've just listened to the VMAs performance again, and I swear it sounds identical to the Roseland performance. And yes, I have the receipt.

The easiest way to find out is by listing every word where she has to growl in both performance. I'm serious, I even wrote down every single word that she growls on a piece of paper. Y'all want me to spill the tea?

Oh and there's one same "bad" note on both performances, which is during the 4th chorus when she says "...the one that GIVES your all..."

I'll give her a discount though, during Roseland she was pregnant and on Revel she still wasn't on perfect shape

well the receipt you listed doesn't make any sense - why would she intentionally pre-record a bum note? LOL.

To make her look like she was singing live.

I haven't seen any receipts that she's singing live though, maybe you'd like to show us one that makes sense?

Oh, well in that case she should just miss a couple of notes intentionally during her future live performances, so that people won't think her vocals are pre-recorded.

No, no! That wasn't what I meant. Urgh English sucks.

I mean like, of course that one bad note wasn't intentionally. Yeah, you know what I mean.

I think we should stop this. Please don't take away my stan card. I'm just trying to express my opinion. Sawwryyy y'all!

LOL, no offense, but I have NO idea what you mean

But yeah - no one can say whether those performances were lipped or not. Only Bee knows. :)

This has nothing to do with the "Beyhive." Its crazy how someone can post something, have someone rebut it, and then claim that you're being attacked because they disagree with the poorly evidenced post. I'm not some blinded stan, I'm just telling you how ridiculous your claim was. :-?

Erm...(something to change the topic)...

Suga Mama is an absolutely amazing song. It's one of my faves from B Day along with Green Light.

LOL, I wasn't saying I was being attacked. I said like I looked like a wasp attacking the Beyhive.

But you can't blame me for having an opinion. Nor you can criticize me for saying it's poorly evidenced, when it's as evidenced as all the other opinions. My theory was not rebuted at all, even though I kinda hoped it would be.

This discussion will lead nowhere so I agree we should stop.

"Suga Mama" was always my single choice after "Irreplaceable", or at least after "Beautiful Liar". Too bad they went with "Upgrade U"/"Get Me Bodied" in the U.S. and "Green Light" in the UK.

Suga Mama was too urban and adult for the masses. Upgrade U was probably her best bet for a hit single after Irreplaceable, although it didn't happen.

Upgrade U has really grown on me in the past few months. I noticed a lot of fans love it but never saw the reason why but now I love to listen to it and the video is amazing. It's really wierd how much it's grown on me.
I was glad they released Green Light in the UK as it did quite well with the remix getting to #12 (give or take) and it mean't that we got an awesome video for it as well.
