I think Free Run, I think he should release a ballad as his all ready released two upbeat dance tracks and it would be a nice change from the dance songs and the sexual R&B slow jams he has, Free Run sounds radio friendly and could gain him new fans.Glow wrote:I love the album, I don't know what track would work for the 3rd UK single though.
I love Exclusive and F.A.M.E. mixed feelings about Graffiti, not really impressed by Fortune, just has a few good songs for me, so for me personally it's everything but better than his last albums.lnMyZone wrote:I would defiantly say buy it because if you like Exclusive and Graffiti and F.A.M.E. its kinda of a mix between all of them but better.
Oddly enough, I never liked Chris that much until all his "fame" dropped and he had to push himself artistically.Jesper wrote:I love Exclusive and F.A.M.E. mixed feelings about Graffiti, not really impressed by Fortune, just has a few good songs for me, so for me personally it's everything but better than his last albums.lnMyZone wrote:I would defiantly say buy it because if you like Exclusive and Graffiti and F.A.M.E. its kinda of a mix between all of them but better.

Chris Brown clinches a personal best today, going straight to Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart with his latest release, Fortune.??
The 23-year-old US R&B singer's fifth full-length album has knocked Linkin Park's Living Things off the top spot, outselling its closest competitor, Maroon 5's Overexposed (Number 2) by 11,000 copies.
Fortune, which features the Official Number 1 smash Turn Up The Music and its Number 3 follow-up single Don't Wake Me Up, is Brown's highest charting album to date.??
Linkin Park's Living Things slips to Number 3, while Ed Sheeran's + is at 4. Emeli Sande's Our Version Of Events (5), which is the second biggest selling album of 2012 so far behind Adele's 21, completes this week's Top 5.??
New Entries and high climbers
In addition to Chris Brown's Fortune (1), there is only one other entry in today's Official Albums Chart Top 40. US country star Mary Chapin Carpenter has also scored her highest charting album to date, with her eleventh album, Ashes And Roses, debuting at Number 26. ??
Ahead of his appearance at Hard Rock Calling next weekend, Paul Simon's classic 1986 album, Graceland, is this week's highest climber, up 39 places to Number 6. Jack White's debut solo album, Blunderbuss, climbs nine places from Number 49 to Number 40, while Train's California 37 (18), Katy Perry's Teenage Dream (27) and David Guetta's Nothing But The Beat (32) are all up seven places each this week.
Finally, Adele's 21, the London singer's mega-selling album re-enters the Official Albums Chart Top 10 after slipping out for the first time last month since it's release in January 2011, and is this week up six places from Number 15 to Number 9.
I agreeFrederic wrote:The album is quite the grower but I'm honestly getting so tired of artists releasing dance singles that end up being virtually the only dance tracks on the album (Chris, Cheryl and Usher in a way). I wanted more tracks like Don't Wake Me Up and Turn Up The Music!

His new album Fortune might fail in comparison to the opening sales of Brown’s former smash albums, but that doesn’t stop him from making it to the number one spot in two of the world’s biggest music markets, as he hits number one on the album charts in the USA and the UK this week. The new album also gives Chris Brown a number one album in the Netherlands
Fortune debuts with 134.000 copies sold in the US last week. A goal he has also managed to reach with his self titled debut album and last year’s success release F.A.M.E. Though the debut is far off last year’s success release, which has given Chris Brown his second best first week sales with an opening of 270.000 sold copies.
