Thanks again for all comments - your every single word means a lot to me :)

Week 41/24 (6/17/2012)

2nd week of 12 Holiday Chart weeks.
A lot of new songs this week appear on chart - at spots 20-17 respectively: Remady feat. Manu-L & J-Son with 'Single Ladies', Ian Carey featuring Rosette, Timbaland and Brasco with 'Amnesia', The Cranberries with 'Dreams', Loreen with Euphoria and at 13th position, the highest debut this week - 'Balada' by Gusttavo Lima.

As for top five, there's no new entries, altghough there's a little movement inside.
4-5 falls Taylor Swift with 'Eyes Open' (4th week on chart).
5-4 rises Rihanna with 'Where Have You Been'. The song is back to its peak position which it reached 12 weeks ago! The song is also the Airplay Gainer of the week.
Down to 3rd spot is previous week's number-one - Carly Rae Jepsen with 'Call Me Maybe falls out of the top spot after spending one week at the highest position.
3-2 jumps Oceana with 'Endless Summer - an UEFA official EURO 2012 anthem reaches new peak in its 8th week on chart.
Well, last week it looked like Aura Dione's time at the top was over, but sometimes even I can't predict how my chart will look like - and this week, unexpectedly, 'Friends' are back at no.1 and get fourth week at the highest spot.

Hey, you're right, guys! Well, I think that If I Could Turn Back Time is my most favourite song by Cher. And the video... ahhh, that famous costume - I can't stop staring at her :D Agree with you, Tiger... ;)

Thank you! It's very likely that Payphone will stay there for some time :D

Thanks for your comment! I'm so happy that you enjoy my chart :D As for Kylie, yes, I've heard Timebomb recently and I think that it's a very nice track - it should appear on my chart in the near future. Kylie Minogue is the singer no.1 of my childhood, so her place in top 20 isn't threatened :D

Thank you! Well, I agree with you on every point - WHYB and Call Me Maybe are being played 24/7 on every possible radio station/TV channel, but thankfully I'm still not bored of them :D

Don't worry! It's its first week, it'll definitely enter the top 20 soon ;)

Thanks! I just love to listen to old tracks from 80's or 90's, music that time was so wonderful... Most of songs produced nowadays are made only for money...

I'm glad to hear of Kylie's impending debut on your chart. She was the #1 singer of your childhood? Cool. Paul introduced me to her last year summer and I've loved her since.

Great chart though I am a tad bit disappointed that "Call Me Maybe" had such a short stay at #1. Your love for "Friends" seems to know no end. Woohoo for the debut for Loreen and the climb for Cher's "If I Could Turn Back Time"."Titanium" shall never die on your chart! :D Fantastic chart, as usual. My faves are:

- Friends
- Call Me Maybe
- Where Have You Been
- Eyes Open
- If I Could Turn Back In Time
- Payphone
- Scream
- Back In Time
- Titanium
- Brokenhearted
- Next To Me
- A** Back Home
- Euphoria

13/20. Still fabulous. 8-)

Week 42/25 (6/24/2012)

There's only one debut on this week's chart - at 17th appears Katy Perry with 'Wide Awake'. If the song reaches the top 5, it'll continue Perry's top 5 singles streak - 'The One That Got Away' and 'Part of Me' peaked at #4 and #3 respectively.

Let's take a look at the top 5 now.
6-5 jumps 'If I Could Turn Back Time' by Cher and becomes first retro song since No Doubt's Don't Speak to climb that high.
3-4 slips Carly Rae Jepsen's number-one hit 'Call Me Maybe'. The song decreases a bit, but still holds well overall and is getting closer and closer every day to platinum certification.
Out of the top spot falls Aura Dione featuring Rock Mafia with 'Friends. It's the song's 12th week on chart and 8th week in top 5. The recording has spent 4 non-consecutive weeks at the top so far.
At 2nd spot remains Oceana's UEFA Euro 2012 Official Anthem 'Endess Summer'. Although it's been a strong contender for the top spot for last few weeks, it wasn't able to hold off this week's number one single, which becomes 'Where Have You Been' by Rihanna. The singer is the first ever to have two number-one hits as a lead artist. 'Where Have You Been' is also the 'oldest' song at the top - the track peaked after 16 weeks in top 20.

Thanks! It's been already second week atop for Where Have You Been, however, it's doing amazing on my chart (yea, I really love it) - it debuted on JANUARY, and then, after some break, it was back on March and since then it's been constantly appearing in top 20 for 16 weeks (inc. 15 weeks in top 10 and 7 in top 5 >>> more info <<<)

Oh, and thanks, I was really in a hurry and accidentally turned off the 11th spot's shadow. The bug's gonna be fixed on next chart (which is going to be posted in a few minutes) ;)

You shouldn't be dissapointed with this week's chart, I think :D

Both WHYB and Euphoria were really strong last week and they should place at high positions (maybe one of them at the highest? again or for the first time?) ;)

Week 44/27 (7/8/2012)

Five drop-outs are replaced by three new and two retro songs this week: starting form the bottom of the chart, at 20th spot debuts Coldplay with 'Princess of China' featuring Rihanna. The band's first single on chart is also Rihanna's eleventh, what strengthens her on the position of best performing artist ever.
At 19th spot arrives 1998 Eurovision Song Contest winner Dana International with 'Diva'. The song also becomes the Airplay Gainer of the week.
At 18th spot enters chart Jula with 'Nie Zatrzymasz Mnie'. It's singer's second single on chart, the previous one, 'Za Ka?dym Razem', has spent four weeks on chart in total and peaked at 15th spot.
Next this week's new entry has ABBA with their most succesful single Worldwide 'Dancing Queen'. Released in 1976, the song becomes the oldest track to chart in top 20 (the preivous record holder was Whitney Houston with 1988's single 'One Moment in Time').
And the last and the highest one - at 10th spot new entry has Shaggy featuring Eve with 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun', a cover of 1983 Cyndi Lauper's song with the same title.

The Greatest Gainer of the week is 'Black Box' by Jessica Jean - the single re-entered chart last week at 19th spot and moves up this week ten spots.

Let's move now to the top 5.
3-5 falls Oceana with 'Endless Summer'. It's the song's 8th week in top 5 zone.
9-4 jumps Katy Perry with 'Wide Awake'. Thanks to this jump, Perry becomes the artist with most (consecutive) top 5 singles (3 - 'The One That Got Away' #4, 'Part of Me' #3, 'Wide Awake' #4)
Up to 3rd spot is Aura Dione with 'Friends'. The song collects 11th week in top 5 and beats Ewa Farna, who had the most weeks in top with 'Nie Przegap' till now (10).
And time for the final result. Top 2 stays stable, which means that Rihanna can celebrate third week atop with 'Where Have You Been'. The song also joins the honorable group of longest #1 runners.
