Well, i LOVED Where Have You Been and was obsessed with it when TTT was released. And since only songs which got a release enter my charts, the song couldn't enter the Top20 then and because i heard it too much then i had very fast enough of it when it was released as a single... and that's why it is already out of the Top20...

But so good to see that except that almost everything is perfect

This week there were many changes on my charts. While Adam Young from Owl City and singer Carly Rae Jepens had a good time last week, this week their duet loose some places and falls from number one out to the Top3. Meanwhile, charts empress Lana Del Rey is the new leader this week of the Singles Top 20. This is already her fourth single on top this year out of five charting singles!

Also, it looks like Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake” won’t get to number one, but it shows good longevity with six weeks in the Top5 so far. Country-folk singer Brandi Carlile can get her first charts entry with the ballad “That Wasn’t Me”. “That Wasn’t Me” is the first single of Brandi’s fourth album “Bear Creek”, released in june, which also debuts this week very high on the Album Top 10.

While Loreen benefits from the video boost and climbs a few places, there are new entries by Of Monsters And Men and Chris Brown on the single charts and Linkin Park on the album charts. All of them were never on my charts before.

Another week, another number one. After only one week, Lana Del Rey’s “National Anthem” have to give up the crown of the Singles Top20 and leaves the Top3, falling down 1 – 4. But this isn’t as bad as it seems since the new leader is another Lana song… yes, that’s right. In it’s fourth week in the Charts, “Summertime Sadness” leaps 2 – 1 to the pole position. With this, all five charting single of Lana reached the top spot. This is a huge achievement. But there is still a singer who is better in this way: Miley Cyrus. Miley had 7 charting singles so far and all of them reached the top spot. And while Lana was 16 weeks on top so far with all of her singles, Miley’s seven top singles were 29 weeks on top. So this is still a long way for Lana…

Both Ellie Goulding and Tinie Tempah are making their charts debut with the collaboration “Hanging On”, which bullets directly into the Top3.

Of Monsters And Men and Chris Brown made their singles debut last week with “Little Talks” and “Don’t Wake Me Up”. This week, both artists are making their album debut. While “My Head Is An Animal” by Of Monsters And Men debuts in the Top3, “Fortune” by Chris Brown misses the Top3 by only one place.

Yes, can happen.

I need to listen to "Summertime Sadness". I don't like "Good Time" for now. :s maybe I will like it later; that's what happened with "Call Me Maybe". Wow! "Video Games" is really STRONG! Good to see "Wide Awake" even though it descreased. The song has a good chart-run for now and it got certified Gold. Good to see "Born to Die" too. My fav Lana song to date. I used to listen to it more in February/March. If I was doing chart, it would've been charted! Teenage Dream might leave your chart soon!

But I don't understand the difference between Teenage Dream and Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection. I mean, "Wide Awake" is on second so I don't get why it's not charted.

Well, for me i like Teenage Dream more than The Complete Confection, because i don't like the remixes and the artwork If i want to hear a 'old' TD-song, then i listen the 'old' TD-album and not TCC...

Well, Glitter & Gold is a very catchy tune and i really like it, but the competition at the moment is really strong that's why it haven't a better place...

hmmm that's difficult to say. I love Little Talks and that was why i bought the album, but on the album are mostly only slowly songs and beside Little Talks only one very strong song (Your Bones)...
I think you have to listen some songs on youtube or so to get an impression. But overall i would say it's a very good album.

Yes, TD's chartrun is really good. It's also one of the most successful albums ever on my charts...

And yeah, i hope Miley will release a new album soon. But her record will be held for a long time, even without a new album

Yeah i know... but the competition was just too strong. But a #2 peak for a 8th single is still amazing and it also have some good longevity, and that's what counts too

Your #1 is phenomenal, probably my second fave song of 2012 thus far. Incredible chart overall too! "Born To Die" and "Blue Jeans" both seem to have had incredible longevity here and though Ellie's new song isn't exactly fantastic, I do like it.

Oh, I see and you're right. I don't really like Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection either. I just hate "Dressin' Up". and I don't like remixes. I've never liked a remix in my life.
