Did it live up to the hype...Beyonce - 4?

I was truly curious about how MDNA would sound.

And then... :-?

Terribly generic and forgettable tracks, wasted collaborations and more of the same dance formula.

Big - for me.

Madonna can be much better than this.

I've been a Madonna fan since I can remember (my childhood) and I've even liked "Hard candy" (which of course it's not her best effort)... but I genuinely don't like MDNA. At all.

Digital Spy, which as some of you know is one of the most popular news sites in the UK, is CONSTANTLY reporting on every minor Madonna update. Today's big story is that the 'Turn Up The Radio' artwork has been released. Other popular sites, such as online newspapers, are always reporting on Madonna too. So for the people saying there is zero promo, that's just not true at all.

As a Janet fan, I would love if UK sites were reporting on these minor stories all the time. I couldn't care less about 'Turn Up The Radio' because the song is horrible, but thanks to Digital Spy (again, which is becoming increasingly popular), I know the artwork, it's release date, the video release date and where the video was shot. And these stories often make headline news on the front page, so it's hard not to notice them.

Yes Digital spy reported TUTR is out,lol.....still from Madonna and her team: they clearly abandoned and snobbed the project since its release to concentrate on the tour alone, Madonna couldn't care less to move a finger for it...I mean she even bothered to move her ass to promote the movie, still the record remained a non-factor to her in terms of promotion: that's the truth.
There's only one Queen

I really like the album. I think it's full of solid songs: I'm Addicted, Turn Up The Radio, Love Spent, Masterpiece... I'm starting to like I Don't Give A also. It lacks a more cohesive sound and a strong first single, but that's all.

Maroon 5 - Overexposed

Released four months ago, Maroon 5's Overexposed came off the heels of a massively successful collaboration with Christina Aguilera, and Adam Levine's stint on The Voice.

The album also spawned two more massive hits so far - Payphone and One More Night [currently enjoying a 5 week #1 stint on the US Hot 100].

The album has sold over 600,000 copies stateside and has enjoyed mixed success worldwide.

However, did it live up to the hype?

What a coindicence, I just replied to their post in the top groups

Anyway, I feel they're as consistent as they've always been, so yes, I feel Maroon 5 lived up to their hype here.

Yes, they did. I was pretty impressed with the album (with little to no fillers) and it was on repeat for the first few days/weeks.

Yes, I'd say it's a great album. Continues the modern shift in style for Maroon 5 and it works well.

Good album, mixing commercial-issues tracks (payphone, even if I like it a lot) and more deep great songs ;)

Hope one of the next singles will be "daylight" :P
