seriously, though, picking just one song on that nearly-flawless record is pretty much impossible...but I'll go with the title track: "Tug Of War".

of course, if you find time, I would also strongly recommend "Sour Candy" and "Money And The Ego". I used non-VEVO links, since I think you're outside the US, but the official videos for "Tug Of War" and "Sour Candy" are on YouTube if you do have access to VEVO.

I decided to check out her older singles, fell in LOVE with them...so I decided to check out her first album, and I fell in LOOOOOVE <3 <3 <3 it could very well become my favorite album this year (although it was actually released in '08).

I just read the comments so far and I didn't have a clue that Carly has already had an album out in 2008. I thought Call Me maybe was her first ever single, :lol:

I also just listened to Tug Of War and it's quite good but I much prefer Call Me Maybe.

Though the Carly domination was totally anticipated, I'm still unfamiliar with all of her songs that are not "Good Time", "Curiosity", and "Call Me Maybe". I will make an effort to check them out soon.

Carly takeover aside, I am excited about P!nk's debut. I hope she can climb higher next week. I'm also glad to see that you (finally) got into Usher. #Latebird

well, Tug Of War was only released in Canada in 2008, I just noticed some of her earlier videos on VEVO last week, and then I found Tug Of War on US iTunes, so I couldn't resist downloading it! I'm really glad you like the title track.

Carly was definitely my obsession of the week last week (and is still going strong this week, actually), but at least a few M5 tracks should still linger for a while. most of the Carly tracks that debuted actually aren't new: they're from her fantastic debut album which came out in Canada in 2008! I just downloaded it for the first time last week and I fell completely in love.

I've listened to Carly's debut album, but i was definitely unimpressed. It's more mature in a way, but not as catchy as Call Me Maybe, or even Tug Of War, which is the only song i really like from it. Apart from her, very good entry for fun. and a good chart overall too.

I was supposed to check out the Carly Rae tracks but I forgot. Sorry. :oops:

Instead of putting it off and forgetting again, I'll be sure to check them out tonight.

Unknown Carly Rae tracks aside (for a second consecutive week), I am loving the debut for Train's "50 Ways To Say Goodbye". I am listening to the song now and it's phenomenal! Those instruments are fantastic!

I'm obviously thrilled to see "Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)" re-enter as I was playing that one like a madman last week. Great rebound for "Give Your Heart A Break" as well!

That's definitely my fave Demi song and one of the best singles of 2012 thus far. The lyrics just touch my soul. :cry:
