No way. :o :o :o :o :o

It's so shocking, and not even a month after the final episode. I had no idea she had cancer in real lite. Her scenes in the final season were the best she ever did (out of all seasons of Desperate Housewives), so it's great that she was given such a great opportunity because she acted so well, and she stole the show from the others in the final episode, undoubtably.

R. I. P. Kathryn.

What in the world? :o My heart goes out to her family. She was such an incredible actress and definitely one of the best supporting characters on DH. Rest in peace, Kathryn.

That is so sad to read, especially since the show just ended a few weeks ago and she passed on there too. She was such a great actress.

I'm watching all the season again right now. And i'm just noticing how much I don't like Susan. She is just OH SO DRAMATIC. Like it makes no sense. And she is noisy. Like i'm watching the episode and she is all in Mikes business. Wanting to know every detail about Toms father crime. Ugh just a rant.

As MJ would say, "you are not alone". I still think she's an idiot for practically painting a confession. But I guess her clumsiness and questionable actions gives her a certain charm. :)

She is unbearable in S5. That was the season that ruined her.

Was that the S4 hallowe'en one? It's one of my all-time favourites, especially Felicity at the end. I cry every single time at that.

Although I'd be the first to criticise Susan, there was a line in the tornado episode that was delivered with so much emotion from Teri that, for one little moment, I liked her. It was something like "so help me I will leave you. I will take this baby and I will leave you".

I've just watched the finale and have to say I found it very touching, I'm really going to miss DH!

Was very sad to watch Mrs McCluskey die. Kind of made it even more poignant watching it after she's only just passed away from cancer in real life.

I liked how they showed what happened to them after they left the lane, although not entirely happy with the new neighbour and the box of secrets...I can see why they've done it, coming full circle etc etc etc. But I really hope they don't plan to revive the show a few years down the line based on new neighbours, that would tarnish the show I think. If they were to revive it/do a movie, it should be the original cast or nothing IMO.

Yeah completely agree. I'm rewatching season 5 now and it's definitely my least favourite. MJ is one of the most annoying child ever!

Killing off Karl was one of the worst decisions of the whole entire show.

I think the whole direction of season 5 and the 5 year jump was the downfall of the show. The whole Dave Williams thing was so uninspired and messy.

Season 5 is watchable but it just goes nowhere really. Lynnette is my favourite character of the season.

You're confusing Karl with Edie.

I didn't like the whole Karl/Bree thing but until that I thought Karl was a brilliant supporting character who could just pop up whenever. I didn't like the aftermath of his death - Susan didn't feel at all sad and we didn't even see Julie's reaction to him dying.

Oh my. Best episode ever. I can never contain my emotions watching that episode. Felicity is jaw-droppingly amazing.

I love that episode too. The lady was totally nuts but as Pete mentioned, Felicity was brilliant in that episode. I find the scene where Kayla's mother was shot to be morbidly funny. Only because of the crazy lady saying, "She put the moves on your husband? Why didn't you say so?" I know I'm a terrible human-being for finding any kind of humour in that but I can't help it.

I think it's because everything eventually went back to how it was before the 5 year jump. So they jump and all the changes (eg. Gabby becoming frumpy, Susan and Mike divorcing) seemed kinda pointless.

I guess I was the only one who cried when she died, but that was probably to do with Lynette.

I loved the episode before that where Lynette kicked down her door and said "ding dong".
