Positive effect in UK considering the last 3 songs of hers played yesterday were Masterpiece, TUTR on BBC Radio 2 and GMAYL on Radio 1

On the French DisqueQueen new albums chart, she's only up to #70 (a rise of 13 spots) despite a sell-out show at the Stade de France.

It also fell out of the top 30 Portugal albums chart this week (wk28) after last week's #21.

Unless something super fresh comes along

Even Usher suffers...Bieber... Everyone focusses on tours.
My friend who is fan of Usher stopped buying. he gets the bootleg version of the new CD. :-?

I dont understand, but for my fave artists (Madonna, Usher, Beyonce, Pink, Coldplay and the script) I ALWAYS buy the hard copy cd....

exactly.. in Germany, only 4% of all music buyers are considered intensive buyers.. who buy at least 9 albums per year. I mean isn't that pathetic. Most people (60%) buy no albums at all and 26% of all Germans only buy 1-3 CDs per year... :roll:

Are you sure? I would've rather said ~ 600 copies...

@stevyy: It really is pathetic... The industry should get their act together and find out solutions how to make the people buy records again. I think many people are irritated by the prices, I mean 18€ is really high for 1 CD...

And it's about time that people who do buy CDs are seen as cool and not the ones who download their stuff illegally because they don't see the reason in letting them be getting dictated by the industry...
