I don't understand why they keep pushing back the album, what is the difference if it will flop in August or in October?

I know these title's don't mean anything to us now, but I really like the sound of them haha Is "Whitout You" a typo, or a dedication to Whitney? (Probably the latter) Regardless, these are some exciting titles and I'm so beyond ready! Let's see this PID video and bring on October!!!

Release date according to Amazon UK: October 15. So currently it might be set for an October 16 release in America, but of course it might change, as it's not a date Brandy has confirmed herself  It's not an official date, but it's an indication for, when the album comes out

Brandy Wants to Bring R&B Back With New Album
Previews tracks from upcoming album in New York

Brandy wants to bring R&B back. Yesterday afternoon, RCA and Chameleon Records invited select media to preview 11 tracks from Brandy's upcoming sixth album, Two Eleven, dropping October 16th. It's Brandy at her most realized: romantically shaky, vocally sharp and musically sound, thanks to an honors corral of producers and songwriters spanning Sean Garrett, Bangladesh, Frank Ocean, Mario Winans, Hit-Boy, Ester Dean, Harmony and more.

Over the course of her decades-long career, Brandy has become a woman before our eyes, outgrowing the baby-lamb naiveté of 1994's Brandy and assuming the role of self-actualized woman (2002's Full Moon). But it was with 2004's Afrodisiac that she faltered in her steps, openly wallowing in a bitter divorce, before rising above the dancing flames on '08's Human. On Two Eleven, she juggles heartache and romantic solace, a nod to past delusions filtered through the hindsight of 33-year-old reticence.

Chameleon CEO Breyon Prescott emceed the session. "I saw music going someplace else," he said. "I was like, the only way Brandy should come back is bringing R&B music back. I see everyone doing dance music, and I was like, we can't do this," said Prescott, who acknowledged side work on Dr. Dre's mythical Detox, promising its imminent release.

"We gotta stick to the core, which is R&B. I got to bring you back to 2012 with hard beats, but the melodies are soft, and the content of the songs are going to be Brandy."

Throughout Two Eleven, a nod to her birthday and the date of mentor Whitney Houston's death, Brandy is as quick to pledge allegiance to lovers as she is to scorn them. On the upcoming Sean Garrett-penned single "Wildest Dreams," the follow-up to lead track "Put It Down" (featuring Chris Brown), the emotional rug is pulled from under her: "Never in my wildest dreams did I think someone could care 'bout me/ Not just the way you love me, but you know I'm emotional (sometimes)," she croons over a thwacking beat courtesy of Tha Bizness.

Producer Bangladesh helms the wobbly, club-geared "Let Me Go," which features an interpolation of Lykke Li's "Tonight," as well as the oiled slow jam "So Sick," written by Garrett, where the singer shoves off a violating lover ("How far do you think I'll let you push me before I cross the line?"). Mike WiLL Made It, known for ratchet anthems including Meek Mill's "Tupac Back" and Gucci Mane's "Too Sexy," shows his softer side with "Do You Know," where Brandy cuts down her man for failing to return her affections.

Elsewhere, Brandy acknowledges that her own emotions have betrayed her on "Wish Your Love Away," written and produced by Mario Winans. Over a piping pan flute and serrated drums, she bemoans a man who played her for a fool – "Remember that you told me you were with it, and all them other bitches you could do without?" – but she can't shake the spell.

Rico Love and Jim Jonsin lace the pecking mid-tempo ballad "Hardly Breathing," where she suffers as her lover walks away, while Hit-Boy blesses the smoldering ballad "White Flag," an admission of emotional defeat.

Two Eleven, still a work-in-progress set to include 15 tracks, also features the Frank Ocean-written "Scared of Beautiful," which will become a duet pending the Odd Future singer's vocal addition. Over double-time instrumentation, Brandy stops seeking reciprocity and focuses inward. "I wonder why there's no mirrors on these walls no more/ You can't tell me why you're so terrified of beautiful," she sings. She's looking only to herself – no man to safety-net her feelings – and she is ready to face her reflection.

First Listen: Breyon Prescott Previews Brandy's 'Two Eleven' Album in NYC

As Brandy preps her first release for RCA Records -- "Two Eleven" (October 16) -- Breyon Prescott, founder of Chameleon Records (which will jointly release the project with RCA) previewed tracks Monday afternoon at Germano Studios in NYC. Prescott had been wanting to work with the singer ever since he saw her perform at L.A. Live, but had to get permission from her most closely associated collaborator first.

"I talked to Rodney [Jerkins], just to make sure it was cool with him cause that's his baby," Prescott said. "I asked, 'is it cool if we can do something different?'" I want to come work with you but I want to do things a little different. I want her to come back with a whole new sound. He gave me his blessings. I thought, 'Brandy, the only way she can come back is to bring R&B back. You have to stick to the core of R&B.'"

Previewing nearly a dozen tracks cut for the project, Prescott says "Two Eleven" is already considered among previous Brandy collaborators -- Jerkins included -- as her best work since 1998's "Never Say Never." "We saw everybody doing this whole dance sound and said, you can't do it," he said. "You gotta bring it back into 2012 with your hard beats, but the melodies and content of the songs gotta be good."

Though lead single "Put It Down" dips into Brandy's rap leanings (she guested on Timbaland's "Shock Value II" under her hip-hop alias Bran'Nu), many of the tracks Prescott previewed are a return to the multi-layered, impassioned vocals best showcased on fan favorites like "Angel In Disguise, "Full Moon" and "Afrodisiac." "Wildest Dreams," a heartfelt ballad written by Sean Garrett and produced by The Bizness, is already being teed up as the set's next single, with the singer name-checking herself several times in disbelief over finding true love again.

Another ballad, "Without You," features one of Brandy's strongest, most confident vocals -- no coincidence, since the song's producer Harmony just worked with Keyshia Cole on her single "Enough of No Love." A pair of collaborations with Rico Love and Jim Jonsin, "No Such Thing As Too Late" and "Hardly Breathing," finds the singer taking a step back from a new relationship -- "When you really love somebody / you can wait / 'cause there's no such thing as too late," she sings on the former.

The set is not without club bangers, however. The Bangladesh-produced "Let Me Go" references the hook from Swedish pop singer Lykke Li's "Tonight" and turns it into a bass-thumping, hold me-back-from love anthem. "You know how I get when you let me go," Brandy sings on the chorus, with a later reference to her mom calling her out on Twitter that is sure to inspire many tweets from fans when they hear it.

Aside from Brown, whom Brandy recently told MTV News also wrote a track called "Slower" for the album, "Two Eleven" will also likely feature a reunion of sorts with Frank Ocean, who penned a pair of songs for Brandy's last album "Human" as well as "Quickly," a 2008 duet with John Legend. Prescott played a rough cut of Brandy singing an Ocean song called "Scared Of Beautiful," before it gets reworked as a duet between the two singers. Another reunion - with Timbaland - is also likely in the cards, with the "Afrodisiac" producer currently in the studio working on a new track.
