UK singer/songwriter Christian Burns has announced the title of his first solo album. ‘Simple Modern Answers’ will be released later this year, and includes collaborations with the likes of BT, Paul Oakenfold, Jean Claude Ades, Antillas, Paul van Dyk, Kryder, Alex M.O.R.P.H. and many more.

Burns, who started his career as a member of the popular British band BBMak – which sold close to three million albums, has been a solo artist since 2003. Known for his collaborations with Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Benny Benassi and BT, he’s become a favored artist in the electronic dance music scene, both on stage and in the studio. Besides working on a new band project with BT, called All Hail the Silence, he’s also spent the last few months working on his debut album. Burns:”I was looking for the right time and the right label. I’m really excited to be a part of the Armada roster and the time is very ripe for Christian Burns. I could not go a day without music. It’s a very big part of my life.”

The first single from ‘Simple Modern Answers’ is a collaboration with German producer Stefan Dabruck, called ‘Bullet’. The track is released with an official music video and is a real mixture of styles.

his collab with Armin was one of the worst songs ever. On the other hand, he did great with Tiesto.

Will be checking this.

Really?? The track with Armin is one of my fave songs ever... I also really love "On the wire" with Allure.

It was huge radio hit in Poland, and I really can't stand it. It was huge let down for me after marvelous "In The Dark"

No word yet on a tracklist, other than the new single "Bullet". Seems unlikely that he would put any of the old collabs with Armin, Tiesto/Allure, Richard Durand etc. on the album.

He might include "Secret universe", his collab with Alex M.O.R.P.H., but even that seems unlikely since it will already be included on Alex' own new album. The article does mention a collab with Alex, so maybe they did yet another track together...?

Album is taking ages...

But the new single should be out now: Christian Burns, Paul Oakenfold & Jes - "As we collide"!
