Totally agree...

BTW Madona is proving right now that the lead single is not such a big matter (and we all remember of the Dirrty era also)... the thing is that promo, tour, and a bit of scandal remain the best way to sell an album...

Bionic could have done better... even though NMT was a flop for all kind of reasons... as Stripped did!

She just was perfection at that time...even France started to like her... Remember when Hurt entered at #3 after less than 1 week... that was just crazy for France! She was on radio all day long... and when she came for the NRJ Music Award medias were just crazy about her and her retro/glam look...she has been the Queen over here for a few time...and I just miss that time!
