He just confirmed on twitter that 'Say Nothing' is the 1st single off his 4th album. It will premiere on radio at 8am on Monday morning. He's in the Spanish desert shooting the video today.

Excited! 8-)

I saw the pics from the video, he's painted silver kinda like Rihanna in the 'Umbrella' video.

That was a video for another song (the way he described it was like a buzz song) called 'Perfect Replacement'.

This song was produced by Dirty South who produced 'Anything' from his last album

LISTEN

I do really like it but it's not as good as Changed The Way You Kiss Me, Won't Go Quietly or Kickstarts! Prefer the Calvin single

Sounds really good on the first listen, this would have fit right in on the 'Won't Go Quietly' album (which is my fav).

Not feeling this massively, it's like it wants to be a cross between "Won't Go Quietly", "Kickstarts" and "Feel So Close" by Calvin Harris. Doesn't sound like a lead single.

I like it! To me it sounds a bit different from anything he has released as a single before.

MUSIC VIDEO

Love the song, but the video is rather forgettable, those stills above pretty much sum it up.

I'm not a big fan of the slightly blue colouring but it's a decent video albeit a bit weird

It's decent enough. I just think he can do better than this.

It obviously makes a huge difference between hearing a dodgy version and a high-quality proper one ... In the beginning I did not think much of this but last night Danny Howard closed Dance Anthems with it and I must say ... WOW, I love it to bits!

[a few hours later] Soooo, I have to correct myself ... as I have a proper version now and could listen into the lyrics, I must admit I freakin' adore this - it has in no time turned into my favourite Example single ever. It may as well be because I personally relate to the lyrics but still ... I hope it charts well!

I caught the performance of this at V Festival (on the TV highlights show) and it was one of the standout performances for me. Works really well live:

Quite like this, agreed it's not quite as paint-by-numbers Example, it has a real 80s feel to it, a bit of Pet Shop Boys in there.
