A WOMAN is planning a lawsuit against UK Urban Sensation Shardinay claiming she was bullied out of school after the diva used a photograph of her on her 2012 sophomore album cover without her authorisation.
Unemployed, Tiffany Puffs 28, says the picture of her as a 8-year-old being used on the hit album severely disrupted her life, The (London) Times reported.
Fox says he is using his mother's savings and "every bit of spare money" he has to file a lawsuit next month.
The image of Puffs with two balls of hair on her head was taken by her cousin who was a professional photographer. He later phoned to tell Puffs that the picture was becoming the album's cover image.
Shardinay's sophomore album is poised to be a huge success, reaching number one, two and three, simultaneously, on the UK charts, and Puffs says it led to her being teased relentlessly by his peers.
"Within a week it was out in the shops," said Puffs. "It was in Virgin, it was in HMV, it was in Tesco, it was all over the place. I was watching
16 & Pregnant with my mum and I saw one of the billboards by the Tube station and it had my face on there."
Puffs says she took a break from school to escape the bullying, which led him to eventually drop out completely. Since then Puffs has trained at the school of life but recently lost her job during the recession.
Shardinay did not respond to calls for comment but management said Puffs should direct his claim to the record label.
