Apple is the greatest brand in the whole world.

And iTunes is its diamond - it is unrivalled IMO. It might be expensive, but the actual iTunes music player and library function is amazing.

i guess you're either team amazon or team itunes.

it's odd that timmy and I prefer amazon so much. I guess it's a German thing.. cause I tunes had to fight against musicload and other stores (among them also amazon). amazon has - i believe - a bigger market share in Germany than in the US and the UK.

I'm Team iTunes too

I only just started buying albums off the iTunes Store in the last couple of weeks but I've used iTunes the player since 2005, and I <3 it :D

It's the only part of my life (except for my wrestling DVD collection) that's actually organised!

I only buy albums off iTunes that aren't released on CD in NZ, like Asian music.

I have only ever bought two albums on iTunes. One was Michael Jackson's greatest hits and the other was Frank Ocean's album but I went off and bought the physical copy of the latter after.

iTunes annoys me sometimes. I wish there was a function where certain tracks could 'belong' to different albums, so I could theoretically have an artist's greatest hits plus the original albums in my library without having 2 lots of each song... if people know what I mean?

Same with tracks, I wish duets could 'belong' to both artists, instead of it being either:
Mariah Carey - When You Believe (with Whitney Houston)
or
Whitney Houston - When You Believe (with Mariah Carey)
or
Mariah Carey & Whitney Houston - When You Believe

...kind of like on Spotify.

Yeah, I've bought a few singles before the album came out. The only album I've bought digitally is Aretha Franklin's compilation 'Soul Queen' because it's 60 songs and was on offer for £2.99!

@Charmbacelet You can do that with playlists but I suppose that isn't as ideal.

I hate that about iTunes. This used to be possible on Windows Media Player...
