Just wanted to show some love for this track, which I'd never really been into before, it's from the 80s which is generally a decade I don't like too much from, but after it's use in the Olympic opening on Friday I kinda love it.

It's got that real quirky instrumental melody similar to "Funky Town".

Brilliant song, IMO their best ever.
Also, worth mentioning it has nothing to do with homosexuality, but deals with another sensitive topic, this time the bomb that American forces dropped on Hiroshima in August 1945 (nicknamed EG).
Unban Misha, bring back John and Dan and tell all stans to go to hell

^Yes. Wonder if the Japanese athletes were aware of this - a song against war, obviously - so, in spirit of the show.
I Love You, Richard Parker!

Enola Gay wasn't the bomb's name or nickname. It was was the name of the B29 Bomber that dropped it!
Hence why they sing "you should have stayed at home yesterday" IE: not took off!
I think the plane is in a museum somewhere :-?
And the 8.15 mentioned in the song, the time it was dropped.
Education for anyone aged 12 to 16 has made a mess of the world!
