Rihanna just needs some tough love. She is very talented. She just doesn't give a f*ck.

There are immensely talented individuals who really WORK HARD to perfect their brand and they struggle. To watch people like Rihanna or Britney Spears half-ass their way to the top of the charts...with fast-food music...

That pisses people off. And for a fan, it's embarrasing.
:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

I have no words.
seriously? if someone has worked so damn hard from the beginning of career that's Britney, just check her videos, tours and performances, I mean if she didn't worked so hard she wouldn't be the best selling female artist of the last 10+years, in top 3 best dancers period 1998-2005 and to be recognized as the youngest artist with Legendary status.
lmao. Who cares about Britney Spears in this Thread?

That was so random and not needed at all.
do u really needed to be that rude?
Uhm... I wasn't rude at all.. But if you feel so, I have to apologize.

Something in the vein of Rated R lyrically, and a bit more experimental, yet mainstream-appealing production.

One thing I don't want is her trying to be a thug or too many sexual lyrics.

I'm hoping for something fun! She always sells with the fun albums. But I need some serious lyrics action, I hope NeYo puts his foot in these songs.

NeYo can stay away.

Time to search for new songwriters, if she doesn't want to write her own songs..

I'm sick of Ester Dean.

I hear Sean Garrett and David guetta wanna mash something up for her.... Ewww I hate that idea already...I strongly dislike Sean Garretts producing techniques and David guetta is hit and miss for me but that's just my opinion. How would everyone else feel about that?

Rihanna is working with superstar DJ David Guetta on her new album, producer Sean Garrett has confirmed.

Garrett, who has worked with the likes of Britney Spears, Destiny's Child and Usher, has told The Daily Star that he's been in the studio creating a "mish-mash of genres" with Guetta for the Bajan babe's seventh studio LP.

He explained to the newspaper: "I was in the studio with David doing some stuff for Rihanna recently.

"He finds inspiration in the things I don't like, and I get excited by the things he doesn't like. He wants to be more urban and I want to be more international, so we push each other."

Garrett went on to state that their work together is "a great mish-mash of genres", adding: "I try to help Rihanna. She works hard and it's cool to write for someone who is so open-minded."

The 24-year old singer has previously worked with Guetta on track Who's That Chick, which reached the UK singles chart top ten back in November 2010.

UK talents Labrinth and N-Dubz star Fazer are also said to be in line to contribute to RiRi's forthcoming record, with Lab recently telling Capital FM: "She's not in my studio [yet] but hopefully I'll have some hot ones on her album."

I personally won't judge, until I hear it, I mean Dr. Luke made some nice contributions to Where Have You Been along with Crikut and Calvin Harris, while I thought that it may could end up as generic mess because of Dr. Luke. So maybe Sean and Guetta push eachother to limits where they never thought of and come to something fresh

If they snub Rihanna again, I'm going to have an problem.

At the very least, Where Have You Been should win Best Visual Effects.
