Tempos can certainly change on a track. Not to mention, with all of that carrying on in the back, it was hard to make out much of anything, imo.

I like it. I really like it. Ross' verse is hot.

That was the beginning of the track, I think, because the crowd was loud.

Questions: 1) Around the ten second mark Mariah sings a word and repeats it a few times quite fast- what is she singing? Is it the word "triumphant"?

2) What is Mariah about to sing at the end? My guess - "There's someone"

I don't think the tempo would change in the middle of a track

and no need for HQ to figure out the tempo.

. Also, there is no guideline as to when the tempo of a track can change. That's up to the producer. See Bangledesh & Swizz Beatz, who are maestros at that. :wink:

I didn't say it was the middle of the track, i said the tempo can be easily be figured out with a LQ version.. you just spot the Beat and the Snare and you're done

No it's faster than SideEffects.. Spot number of seconds betwwen the drum kick and the snare, and do the same for Side Effects, you'll find out Side Effects is much slower actually, although Side Effects sounds faster because of the fast singing.

Not necessarily, it depends if they want the slow motion effect.. generally in a rap verse they don't do it, it would sound really weird

This to me sounds nothing like the songs people are mentioning. The beat is hot and you can get the inspirational feel.
