Well that's true. That's why I love HBO/Showtime.thebigham wrote:^C'mon... Rating are not everything when it comes to HBO/Showtime.
HBO renewed Treme even though it has low ratings.
Showtime renewed that awful Matt Leblanc show and it had low ratings.
HBO's The Comeback was awful.
The Big C has a stellar cast. Showtime is not going to cancel it.
Laura Linney was just Emmy nominated and she won a Golden Globe earlier this year.
A 3rd season is garaunteed.
I hope they give it a proper ending and I'm surprised they didn't promote this as the final season, could've brought more viewers.thebigham wrote:This is probably the last season for Weeds. The creator has said her contract and the actor's contracts all ended with Season 7.
I love Oliver Platt but honestly, if it turns out he's saved, as much as I'd love him on the show, it would be a really cheap shot.thebigham wrote:The season finale was so good with a SHOCKER of an ending!!!!!!
Do you think "he" is really dead or that the paramedics will save him?
But, a very uneven season...
Yes, it's been renewed for a 10 episode season.alxx wrote:I don't think he will survive, and as much as I love the character I'd like to see the storyline progress into Cathy being a single mother dealing with cancer. This has been renewed for another season right? Love this show, it's definitely one of the best things on TV.
OMG for real? I love her. I also loved Hugh Dancy last season. He has such a beautiful smile. I cried when he died.Wolfsmagik wrote:Im amazed that they got Susan Sarandon to join season 3.
