When in the hell will we get a soundscan update on Van Halen's, "A Different Kind Of Truth"?

At last count, I think it had sold 363,000 copies.

Is this correct?

Uh, The tour isn't "cancelled", if you had done your homework properly, you would know that the tour is still in action until July 4, 2012. After that Van Halen will be taking a break, due to over-scheduling. So much for cancellation ...

As for the clueless media and radio that announced this bogus, false info, Van Halen are getting along fine and this tour should take them well into 2013.

It's the 4th best seller this year for international artists YTD and the 2nd after Madonna's MDNA if we only count 2012 releases (Adele's 21 and Lady GG's BTW are #1 and #2 respectively among international artists but their albums are not 2012 releases)

Or to be more exact , I should say "western international artists" since Girls Generation's (S.Korea) album is higher than the ones I mentioned (it's #11 overall YTD)

On July 7, 2012, this cd will have been out 5 months.

Anyone have an update on this rather strange quietness circling this Van Halen release ?

At last count, someone e-mailed me the album just passed the 400,000 mark, but I'd like a valid source.

Anyone ?

someone over at the rotharmy.com stated that the disc scanned over 400k and that it did a Million worldwide.

No source for that though.

I guess it's not really that bad considering a heavy like Springsteen scanned only 25,000 copies more and he promoted the shit outta "Wrecking Ball", and has been fairly active recording and touring non stop for over a decade now, the longest he's ever done that.

Oh well, it's been rumoured Van Halen is up to ssomething Big for the new Year and another album, so things can't be that bad ....Yet.
