I just heard on tv that my country is the most successful at the Olympics, when you take population size into consideration! :o :P Go Denmark! 8-) For America to do as well, you guys need more than 400 medals!

San-Marinese girl finished 4th in the women trap shooting so you're lucky enough.

^ Hate to say it, but it won't happen.

I'm really not doing very well at this stanning for my country business. I'm too realistic for that s***.

Anyway....

MY COUNTRY'S GOLD-MEDAL DROUGHT HAS BEEN BROKEN WOOT WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!

Tom Slingsby won gold in the sailing (Laser class) and we're guaranteed another one in the 49er class. Just a case of performing in the race now. :D :D :D

Totally forgot about our gold medal hopes in BMX too, in both men's & women's.

Watched the men's parallel bars gymnastics final last night and was pleasantly surprised to see the cute German guy from the all around final was in it

He won silver! I was so happy for him <3 Also the French guy that won bronze = HOTTIE!!

Can't believe I never paid attention to the men's gymnastics before, there's some really good looking men in there

Men's horizontal bar final was the best gymnastics final so far. It was insane and Epke Zonderland had the most jaw-dropping performance ever.

Funny then how the officials didn't see it that way.

*stan mode*

Dear GB & Victoria Pendleton,

Ner-ner ner-ner-ner Anna Meares beat you!

Love,
Virgostar & Australia

*/stan mode*

Yes, funny how the officials didn't see it that way. :P Can't complain really, dirty tactics have appeared at this Games and Great Britain hasn't been immune to it I might add.

Anyway, I haven't seen the race yet, so I can't entirely comment on it, but well friggin' done to Anna. Despite my stanning above, I know Victoria was gracious in defeat, so I'll commend her on that. Anna is quite the champ - 4 years ago in Beijing she came back from having a broken neck 7 months prior to the Olympics to win silver and I know winning this one meant a lot to her too having missed out in the keirin. Those 2 girls have got one fierce rivalry & I'm delighted Anna triumphed on this occasion.

Also stoked that Sally Pearson won her gold medal in the 100m hurdles. After the "disappointment" of JMag (James Magnussen), this was the next gold medal Australians were sweating on & I'm very pleased she got it.

We're coming for that top 10 people, watch out!

Ok, I've now seen the Anna/Victoria showdown & I know why Victoria got relegated in that first race. Although Anna did touch her at one stage of the race, this was after Victoria had moved her bike outside of the red line, which apparently in sprint cycling you've got to stay inside when you're being chased. Hence why the judges did the right thing and relegated Victoria.

It's nice to finally hear my country's national anthem being played at a medal ceremony, I've missed the previous 2 and Sally Pearson's medal ceremony hasn't happened yet. :D 8-)

Oh and I forgot to congratulate Annette Edmonson on her bronze in the ominium, well done.

Now onto today's action...gosh I hope Steve Hooker can make it through in the pole vault. The guy's been under enough psychological torture coming from himself & I'd hate to see him fall victim to that evil voice again.

Aly Raisman did so well, and she won the gold in women's gymnastics. So proud of her! :D

China is leading the medal count with 73, while the US is following closely with 70. GB has 48.

Mo Farah looked great qualifying for the 5000m Final. I think he'll win to go with his 10,000m Gold. For GB to win 2 long distance Golds when we have only won a Bronze before would be unbelievable.

Arise Sir Mo!! :D

Is this even happening? Are GB really having their best Olympics performance for 104 years?!

Such a great sense of pride - I can't wait for the closing ceremony!
