Anyway, my question: I've been looking for a dance track for quite some time. It sounds a bit trancey, with a girl in a high voice singing

"All I wanna do, all I wanna do,
all I wanna do is touch you"

I'm sure I heard her voice before, she must be well-known, but I don't know who it is... Any ideas?

Sounds like Dannii Minogue - 'All I Wanna Do'....

I am looking for a house track I heard a few weeks ago, quite funky.

the only vocals were in the chorus thing and it was something along the lines of

"sunshine for a more... dont need to ring the bell."

I am completely guessing at lyrics here because I was rather wasted.

I think the tune you're after is Jamie Lewis & Nick Morris - Sunshine Hotel.

There's also a version of the same tune by DJ G, I'm guessing it was one of those two!

Hmmmm.... Ok got three tunes that are bugging me with their identities so if anybody can help that'd be great. :-?

Here's the first:
Lyrics are something like "People of the world unite..... The rhythm's gonna get you tonight"

The second:
Think it samples some disco song and has lyrics like " Everything that you feel is real" and "Everytime you use (or maybe choose) love you loose love"

And the last:
Samples First Choice's Let No Man Put Assunder (everyday of my life), but I don't think it's the Junior Jack song, or it's definately not the version I have if it is.

Sorry to bug you all.
Thanks, G xxx

I think it's
Freaks - "Where were you when the lights went out?"

I think it's from 2003, maybe 2002... It was taken from the Freaks' album "The man who lived underground".

Hope that helps?

First one is Phats & Small 'Tonite', and the second one's Soul Avengerz 'Love You Feel'.

Not sure about the third one though, think that's been sampled quite a lot.

That must be "Breathing (Airwave)" by Rank 1 themselves. It's basically the 2003 re-release of "Airwave" with the added vocals of singer Aino Laos.

I've got a question myself too... We have this radio station in the Netherlands that plays non-stop dance hits, but unfortunately they never tell you what they've just played.

Now I keep hearing this clubdance song (don't have a clue whether it's recent or old) with the singer (hard to tell if it's male or female vocals) repeating the same line which sounds to me like
"Here I am! Rock you like a hurricane!"
It seems to me it's a cover of, or a song sampling, the Scorpions' track "Rock you like a hurricane"...

Does anyone know this song?

Thanks,
Eric.

Does no one at all know that song...?
I heard it again last night, but I can't find anything anywhere...

I did find out, however, that the group Hi-Gate did have a song called "Hurricane"... Could it be that one? Does anyone know that Hi-Gate track?

Could be...

Echobeatz - Africa 2000

Riffs and Rays vs Toto - Africa

or Ja Rule - The Reign

Thanks for the fast reply!

It isn't echobeatz, also Ja Rule fails because it was a dance track. The Riffs and Rays version comes very close to it. The beat is very much like it, but the sample was shorter.
Still thanks for you recommandations!

they play something they claim is Eric Prydz "Take me away" - it's even playlisted like that - over here, but after hearing Marcus Levin's version I think they must be downloading their stuff from the Internet, or someone has given them a cheeky white label.

I remember that happening to Rob Searle's remix of "The power of love" by Frankie Goes To Hollywood, it was called the Ferry Corsten remix.

Oh, I got some tune I need identified!
It's some cheesy house choon, must be somewhat recent, with some guy who sings "Sorry baby/sorry lady", it's very disco with this strings arrangement after he has sung his hook.
The production reminded be a bit of the Attic's "Destiny".

Damn there was a song last night that I loved, and I was trying to remember it so I could ask you guys what it was but I've forgotton it.

It was a looped track, probably a sample from something else and I think the line was something like "I've got more love to give"

Try Terry Williams - Sorry baby. It fits 100%.
