I know the lead singer released a solo single in Australia last year, and I'm afraid that's all I know.

this was a heavy tune actually, and a good singer! surprised there's been nothing else from her/them?

Madison Avenue (as an act) split up ages ago. The singer, Cheyne Coates, has done some stuff since and as far as I remember it was pretty good.

I heard it in the car on the way home from work recently and was surprised at how good it still sounds. I normally get bored of that kinda thing but that one's not fading yet.

I still own the single for this tune...& still enjoy hearing it every now & then - it's a pity it didn't get to #1 here in Australia (#2 - the next single Who The Hell Are You got there though)...

As for the band, yup, they split up & Cheyne's done a few songs since, but nothing to set the charts alight...I think she's probably combining a solo career with motherhood (she's got a young daughter), but I haven't heard anything else from her since the 2 songs Shane mentioned...
