Ricky Martin & Christina Aguilera

I saw the video for "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely" the other day and it's ok. Ricky looks kinda normal, but what hit me was the amount of make up they put on Christina Aguilera :eek:

The song is ok, they remixed it a bit... not my fave from his album though.

I was amazed by Christina's makeup as well - it's a bit over done.
I did like Ricky though (not that there's a time when i dont think he looks hot), but I think he should have chosen someone else to sing with so the remake would be bearable. Maybe I'm just jealous that he didn't chose me. HAHA

I thought he was going to be releasing "Loaded" as the next single from his album - what happened to that?

i saw the vid today while waiting in the queue of a travel agency... and well, what can I say? It's like Could I...? by enrique and whitney, but worse. I mean, I dunno why, but i'm starting to find Christina's voice a bit annoying, and excuse me, but Ricky Martin CAN'T be a latin lover which represents us (latin guys) all. The song is easy, but still I find Christina only screams and Ricky dances. At least, Whitney's vocals were brill and Enrique just did what he *could* (lil things in the low vocals). That's just my opinion. The vid? Again, could I...? + FX.

I can't say either I love her vocals on this one... in the original Ricky's vocals on the "time is precious..." bit are subtle and in the remixed version Aguilera is just basically screaming that bit, which makes a huge difference to the feel of the song.

I was hoping they'd release "Come To Me", now that's a lovely song. Haven't heard about "Loaded" but it's probably bound to be a hit - maybe more towards the spring/summer?

Xavi - for me Ricky is all it takes to be a representation of Latin guys :smile:

I really don't know what you've got with Christina's Make-Up? eah, it's too much but haven't you seen how she looks like...she's so skinny. Her bones came out of her shoulder. Anyway, I like the song very much and I guess it sounds much better on spanish!

Oh come on Katrin, her body is perfect really. She could have been taller I suppose but that doesn't show in videos anyway.

Much as I'm not convinced about her in general I have to admit she has a good figure.

But the make up is a bit much, I know what you mean about the going so much over the lip line! :wink:

What is your problem with Christina's contribution to the song? I've heard Ricky Martin's solo version, and I'm sorry, it's pants in comparison. True, the single mix is also better, but in my opinion it's the addition of Christina's vocals that make it a much better song.

Aneta, fo you have a problem with me? I've nothing to say against Christina's figure. I just say that she is a bit to skinny. I also think that she's prettier than Britney Spears but hey I don't want to start a discusion here...remember that erveryone likes something else/different.

It is a Music Forum. However it's OK to discuss related things, especially if image is at least as important as the songs in pop music these days. It's hard not to notice some aspects of it.

Not that I care about Christina Aguilera's looks, mind you :wink:

Aneta are you trying to tell me that I don't know about nothing of the Music-Business?
