This seems to be official as it appears on BBC Teletext and Antony appeared on the BBC News this morning. Was just wondering who you guys think would do a better job, in terms of singing live and even type of song? Personally I hope Kym gets it, despite the fact it's basically music career suicide, I'd still like to hear some new material from Kym. Antony described his track as being very upbeat and Kyms as being quite 'Natalie Imbruglia Torn-ish'

I saw that^ Is his first solo single even out yet? It's like he's already given up and gone to Eurovision
I'd like Kym to go, she can sing live...but then again, "Natalie Imbruglia-ish" probably isn't what Eurovision want is it? I think Javine got it right with Touch My Fire and we still did crap
You said turn around so I cannot see your tears falling...

Don't forget Daz Sampson (of Uniting Nations) who has had more success across Europe than Hear'Say, and also perhaps Blue, did. And more recently, too.

Well we have no chance with those idiots... I think we should start sending unknowns again.

I'd love Kym to go to Eurovision if that's the way to relaunch her music career, and "Whisper To Me" is not half bad, very much like the stuff on her debut album. So go Kym!

Antony's song is supposed to be a Michelle Lawson cover, I'd guess of "I Just Wanna Say"

ARGH! Anthony has covered Michelle Lawson's 'Beautiful Thing' !!
Quick Shane, post a download link for the original track so that no-one can be tarred by this awful cover version of a song that was never commercially released!

I don't mind Kym Marsh, but she hardly defines what Eurovision is about does she?
Antony Costa is dire though, I think he would probably be the final nail in the UK's eurovision bid coffin for good.
Thriller's right, we should send unknowns to do it (unless they're Jemini part two).

How on earth can you have a "cover" for Eurovision. The idea is to have original songs isn't it a song contest for writers.

I've heard all 'Making Your Mind Up' songs and to be honest, none really stand out, but if I had to pick one, then I'd opt for Kym.

I quite like Kym Marsh & think she can sing but IMO they both take theirselves a bit too serious to be a part of eurovision if you know what I mean We need something a bit more cheesier! If it had to be out of the two though I'd choose Kym

Why didn't someone get Michelle singing it? After all, it is her song and it sounds much better when she sings it.
