Four months after the launch we noticed the forums are doing rather well and Mad About Music was rather full... I guess the fans here really are mad about music!

So we've expanded... here's a run-down on what to post where. The rules aren't terribly strict, but if you post your message in the appropriate place, it's more likely to stay there.

Posts about music itself - opinions about an artist/group, their work or performances, musical career etc. should go under the appropriate forum in Genre Junction.

If it's not very genre-specific, if we don't have a forum for the genre, or if it's about multiple artists that span genres, plonk it in Mad About Music.

Topics not about actual music ought to go in Chart Chat, for chart facts and figures (obviously), or in Gossip Column if it's about the stars and their antics (or their image, whether you think they're nice people or not, whatever). If it's about the music industry in genera though, it'll be ok in Mad About Music for now.

Finally, if you fancy a break from music, want to talk about life in general, you can post anything (non-offensive) in This 'n' That. Post your silly test messages in Test and anything about the site they call UKMIX in the forum we call UKMIX.

Don't worry if a message wanders off its original topic. We can always move it, if it's looking a bit uncomfortable in its original surroundings.

Have fun!

I'm personally not sure whether they could leave indie alone with pop in the old rock and pop section. As I'm sure I've said somewhere else, a Rock(&Metal)/Indie separate from a Pop genre might be a good idea.
