I don't think thats true, Im Mexican born and raised, and those numbers don't seem right, the Mexican chart is hard to figure out since nobody is measuring them, that would be an estimate, a very poor estimate if you ask me.

San: These are official numbers, no estimates. There is an IFPI-sanctioned entity measuring sales in Mexico and publishes an official weekly album chart, that's the AMPROFON

Yes this one is a bit strange but this is not a mistake... Maybe the destription of the article was quoting an old sales figures while the album was certified 2xPlatinum.
