#31 Linkin Park [20 points]

#25 Art Garfunkel [30 points]
#24 John Legend [31 points]
#23 Eminem [37 points]
#22 John Legend [38 points]
#21 Pearl Jam / MIA [39 points]

#20 Image
Shakira scored her first top 10 album this year with Oral Fixation vol. #2. The album went GOLD and scored 41 points until now.

#19 Image
The world's greatest Pop Star ever only reaches no. #19 in the 2006 year end artists charts. Last year his album HIStory was amasterpiece but this year was tough for him. But his several releases that charted in this year helped hgim to score 50 points. Hopefully next year will be better for him.

#18 Image
I love Coldplay, this year X&Y still charted high and it became one of the top 10 most played albums on the most played albums chart since the chart exists. Also their first album showed some popularity in my chart. With 2 releases they scored 53 points in 2006.

#17 Image
Kelly Clarkson was just phenomenal in 2006. Her 2004 release Breakaway was very successful in 2005 and helped her to chart that high in 2006. The album is sensetive, rock and romantic all in one. It scored 55 points for her this year.

#16 Image
They are back. I knew they made great music for a very long time (since i heard wonderwall). My first album by them was What's the glory morning story which did not do so well on my chart. But this year i heard they made a MTV Unplugged concert and i downloaded the songs. This really is like the best unplugged concert ever by a band. Also their newest compilation charts pretty well so far. They scored 58 points just this year!

#15 Image
I don't like her screaming when she sings, but Back To Basics had some great songs where she really sings. Hurt is wonderful, the right man, without you or mercy on me, back to basics deserved the success. Christina scored #60 points.

#14 Image
The Queen is back. Confessions on a Dancefloor was a mega success in 2005/06, TIC charted good this year and EVITA belongs to the top 5 most successful soundtracks on my charts. Madonna is great and she scored wonderful 61 points.

#13 Image
Sir Eric is back. His Best of album charted high this year and reached no. #1. His music is just good for body and soul. He scored 64 points with just 1 release.

Image

Also no. #13 this year Jack Johnson. I love him. His music just brings back summer feelings. The Cuzrious George Soundtrack was very successful and reached no. #1 this year. In Between Dreams stays his career most successful album in my charts. I love his calm voice- really really great! He scored 64 points.

Image
She doesn't need the black eyed peas to be heard by me. The Dutchess is a great R&B album, with some great ballads. This album is better than love angel music baby by gwen. 64 points also for her.

#12 Image
Jesus walks, Jesus walks with me. I love his ego as much as his music. He knows how to write and produce a song. His latest album Late registration hit #1 but was less successful than college dropout. diamonds of sierra leone is my favourite song from late registration.. he deserves his worldwide success and he scored fantastic 73 points.

#11 Image
I watched the grammys 2006 and i listened to his latest hit fine line live and i loved it from the first note. Paul doesn't need the beatles Chjaos and Creation was #1 and scored 74 points-great songwriter.

Germanys best band Silbermond released this years most successful germany language album on my charts. I fell in love with the first single unendlich which is a soft rock ballad thats just worth to be a worldwide hit. The whole album is great and it was #1 (the first #1 album by a germany band or artist). Silbermond scored 78 points this year.

#9 Image
No more drama queen, the breakthrough was her first release that charted in my charts and it reached no. #1 in the last week of 2005 and first week of 2006. Mary J. Blige scored 82 points in 2006 and her newest greatest hits compilation currently is on its way to debut on the top 10.

#8 Image
Reach out, Take That are back. I have been a fan since 1995 when they released Nobody Else and Back for Good. I was very sad when they split up in 1996 and i never forgot to listen to them constantly in the last ten years. Their GH album and Ultimate Collection where huge hits this year and i totally love the new album. Its a soft rock pop album and it currentlx is #2 on the MPA charts. TT scored 84 points this year and they now a tough competition for coldplay.

#7 Image
Love and 1 charted this year and made the beatles one of 7 acts that scored over 100 points this year. Let it be will be my alltime classic beatles song and i could always listens to their classics. They scored 114 points this year!

#6 Image
Josh Groban for me is the best male vocalist of all times. His live CD live at the Greek was wonderful i felt every note he sang. Also Awake his newest album i think is his best album to date. February song or lullaby i mean hes just so great, his music is so romantic and beautiful. He scored 117 points this year.

#5 Image
I love his new album which is the first release of his to chart on my charts. I also own Justified and love that one too. my love and what goes around belong to the best R&B songs ever. I love his performances, his look, his voice and his style. Hes just unique and FSLS after 16 weeks is still HOT. Justin scored 135 points this year!

#4 Image
janet overtakes Michael for the first time. 20 Y.O., The Velvet Rope, Damita Jo, Rhythm Nation 1814 and Janet, she is the queen of slow voice music r&b. I like her style of singing and her music. Even Damita Jo has some great tracks on it. With U from her latest album is just incredible. I hope she stays that successful on my charts also 2007. She scored 141 points just this year.

#3 Image
She had the longest running no. #1 album of the year (the third longest ever), all her 3 albums charted this year and loose is the 5th most successful on the alltime list charts and with 6x multi platinum certs also the highest certified album of 2006. Say it Right is her hymn for me, i love loose the album and i think even tough it left the top 10 this week it will definately re chart soon. She scored 197 points 2006.

#2 Image
The most successful artist of 2005 loses one spot and falls to no. #2 this year. Every album of hers charted on the top 10 and TEOM is the 4th best album of 2006, but she wasn't a competioner for the KING of 2006... [mariah scored 238 points]

#1 Image
My greatest artist of 2006, i LOOOVE him for his music and concerts, but i hated him on Take That. I fell in love with his music when he released millennium which was my first favourite song of his. Intensive Care currently is the second most successful album of all times and the best scoring album of 2006. Rudebox his newest album is on its way to brealk the 100 points barrier and the alltime top 10 charts. 358 points for MISTER ENTERTAINMENT in 2006.

Fantastic choice of Nelly Furtado's album - amazing indeed. Same goes to Kelly Clarkson's great second album and also Nelly Furtado's other album (Folklore)! I also love Céline Dion's collection and Robbie Williams' is really very good as well. Madonna's album is very ambient and cool and I saw Walk The Line the movie and loved the OST so I woo the Joaquin Phoenix/Reese Witherspoon soundtrack and also the lovely Sheryl Crow album. Don't know Mariah Carey that well.

Artists of 2006

#35 Sheryl Crow [10 points]
#30 Celine Dion [21 points]
#20 Shakira [41 points]
#18 Coldplay [53 points]
#17 Kelly Clarkson [55 points]
#16 Oasis [58 points]
#15 Christina Aguilera [60 points]
#14 Madonna [61 points]
#7 The Beatles [114 points]
#4 Janet Jackson [141 points]
#3 Nelly Furtado [197 points]
#2 Mariah Carey [238 points]
#1 Robbie Williams [358 points]

Some amazing artists there! I really love all of Sheryl Crow's amazing career and Céline Dion is one of my favourite singers ever - great voice and her collection is magnificent. Shakira is gorgeous and I love Kelly Clarkson's recent music and Coldplay's too! Oasis are classic and have had good songs although I haven't heard much of them this year and Christina Aguilera is a great pop artist. Madonna and The Beatles are classic and I LOVE Janet Jackson although not recently so much. Nelly Furtado became one of my favourite singers recently, also thanks to Loose and Mariah Carey always amazes me with new songs I have not heard. Robbie William is also a master of pop!

Great chart.
