You have to go to their help page and download the correct plugin. They have Windows Media Player, Winamp, a lot of others too! Just follow the directions

I have installed the plugin, enabled it, added my username/password and it's still telling me that there are:

Recent Tracks

No recently played tracks to display.

But then, on the left, there is:

Tracks played: 14

Maybe those tracks will be added onto the list later on? I know sometimes it can take a while to be added onto the list you have, but still be counted as "number of tracks played" on the side of your profile.

Just give it a while, and if nothing happens seek advice on their forums. Someone's bound to have a logical explaination.

Yeah, you have to be patient with Audioscrobbler.
Its not as bad as it used to be but it sometimes takes a few days to update your stats.

This all sounds a bit like spyware to me. Like... "Hello Mr Record Company Lawyer, this person is listening to your stuff that they've illegally downloaded".

Maybe I've got the wrong end of the stick, I dunno.
This post is highly unlikely to be serious. Please treat it accordingly. Unless it's music-related, in which case I'm damn well right.

They can't tell where the source of the music comes from.
All the site does is make a list of what you've been playing. They can't tell if thats through a CD or a download or whatever.

Oh, that's probably alright then... yeah, might give it a go at some point. Though it might not be worth it since I usually have a CD on (hence rarely listening to stuff on my computer).

Music not showing up? Music you listen to in your media player (iTunes, Winamp, etc) will appear here after you've downloaded and entered your username/password into the appropriate Audioscrobbler plugin.
Bah... everything's installed properly. :-?

Here we go then, for anyone who's interested in what I'm listening to.

There's two songs on there at the moment. I don't really see that it'll make me any reflective charts, considering I (currently) have 2380 tracks in my library and I listen to them on shuffle... so it's just going to chuck random stuff out all the time.

But there we go.

I still use Audioscrobbler, however my sister listens to her music with the plug-in turned on. :x The result? Sean Paul, Rihanna, Pussycat Dolls and other crap artists are in my chart!

Does anyone know how to make one of those players where you can upload songs and it'll play them on your website or profile or whatever? I want one.
