I completely agree. Just Whitney was very "me against the world" throughout and it was a pile of pants as a result. That and most songs sounded like tracks on the top of the producers' reject piles.

Yeah I was just about to use that as an example. The whole thing just made her sound rather angry.

As for the woman at hand, she looks great; its so "Bodyguard" days. I really cant wait to hear this forthcoming album. I dont care what the people call it (comback, etc.) but for me, its definitely going to be classic Whitney (like every other album). She just needs to realise that she must stick to her own style and not compete with the "whats hot and whats not" clan!

I cant really make out which voice was whitney's apart from cece's bit at the start, she sounds different maybe its the quality of the video. Yeah I agree but look whats happening to those two theres only a certain aamount of time the 'hype' round an album can last wait to long and people lose interest I think she's had plenty of time (and with the the writers and producers used) to make a really great record I'd just like reassurance thats it's well on the way to being done

It's a good thing to hold her new album release to early 2008, IMO. I really look forward to it. By the sounds of that video, Whitney's really been working hard to get that voice back on top form. Kicking Bobby Brown to the curb is probably the best decision she's made, concerning her career and personal life.

''Just Whitney'' was after a 4 year gap, I wouldn't call it rushed.

it was rushed out after her greatest hits release..+ they pushed up the release when the tracks started leaking messing up the entire promo scedule.
that era was a flop in all aspects

Just Whitney WAS rushed. She was so lazy and messed up that year and she didn't sound great. The music also sucked. Lots and lots of bad decisions. This upcoming album needs clear minded thinking and time. The right songs and the right time. I think they should wait for early 2008. She can sing at the Grammys, make some American Idol appearences, and they can also schedule some kind of tribute show to her. And tour/promote in the summer.

The clip is promising. She sounds clear and happy, and her gorgeous tone is still there. She doesn't sound hoarse or deep breathing like she just finished smoking cigarettes. Her range seems to be missing though.
