Question: Khia are you still with the same label or have you moved?
Answer : Umm I am still independent, I had an distribution deal through Artimist. So basically I had a one album distribution deal umm and you know it was a one album deal so right now I am still independent I, I umm I can still do my distribution through Artimist you know the doors still open if I wanna do distribution through Artimist but Im really umm open to a major deal or whoever picks the album up its just free agent at this time.

Question: Khia we hear you are a business woman, do you have your own business in Atlanta? Answer: Yes
Question: How did that come about
Answer: Umm Basically its really like a umm umm entertainment boutique I do sowing I hand make different designs, and I have a couple contracts in stores that is here around Atlanta so its really like order only umm but at the boutique its like a entertainment boutique we have a stage we do live performances, we have live bands that does entertainment a lot of the local artist, producers and Djs come through to promote market network. So it’s really like a game room we got like the big screens, and the pool tables, play stations and stuff hook up. We have a stage and we also do Umm like fashion and live entertainment so its like fashion entertainment all mix in one.

Question:Oh khia there are a few rumors going around saying you have beef with rap artist Trina and jacki-o? Is this true?
Asnwer: No, I don’t know. I don’t know no a lot people been asking me if we beefing, I guess because jacki-o says she’s the “queen of the south” and I say I’m the “queen of the south”. But, you know what I’m saying it’s really just my option, Fact is I sold more records then her. I also have a bigger fan base then her, and I just look at how many records I sold and it’s just the facts. A lot of people like to say “Oh she said she’s the queen of the south and you say and you the queen”. I was around before her, so it’s like their trying to put us both as if we are battling. But there is no completion between me and jacki-o. I write my own material and I handle my own business plus I sold more records then her. So as far as my option goes I’m the queen of the south.

Question: Yeah, we heard Trina was trying to get you on her album and you would not get on there.
Answer: That’s because I don’t do features. I feel like both of them are weak and I don’t feel they can rap better then me. Most of the guys I know because I’m in the street and I know they have ghost writers and people write their materials. Also, their only hit songs they have are with features. Any hit song that Trina has is with a feature it. If it’s ludacris somebody, even if its Ying Yang Twins with Jacki-o. They need someone to back them up when they perform on stage. They need someone to hype them up, I don’t have nobody to hype me up, I don’t do hype man or features. I didn’t do a feature on my First or Second album and all my singles where just me. That’s another reason I don’t feel their better than me. Trina did call me wanted to do a feature And I did not wanna do it, and I don’t need to and I don’t even wanna be on the phone with you. So I didn’t wanna do it and they both hot and got attitude’s it’s my choice not to do them.

Question: We know you’re the real queen of the south are you in the studio now working on your album?
Answer: My album is done it comes out this July its called gangstress and it’s already finished. My single is called “Snatch the cat Back” which is real hot it’s doing real good in the south already. I’m on a 40 city tour right now, promoting the new album that comes out this summer. I’m looking for a deal so put the word out that I’m still independent and I’m not signed. MY album is complete and there is heat already under it. So my album is going to do real well.

Question: After you did the hot joint with Trick Daddy have you got calls and offers.
Answer: I get a lot of people that call and offers and it’s just I love Trick daddy. Hood is going to respect hood and real going to respect real. It’s just Florida as far as I’m considered trick is a legend, and someone like Trick you just don’t turn down when they call you to do a song. I just enjoy Trick I was bought up on trick so that was something I had to do for love I have for him. Really! That was just the thugmisses and Trick is a thug and this is the thugmisses. I get a lot of people that call and I kind choice who I wanna do something with. Trick Daddy is probably the only person I would want to do something with and Lil Wayne.

Question: You don’t have any guest appearances on your album at all right.
Answer: Nope. I don’t do that, I feel it’s better to do your shine I feel like a lot of artist use people to sell records. I don’t need that to sell my records.

Question: On the T.I mix tape there was a song on there with T.I new group Xtaci. How did that come about?
Answer: Well me and T.I have a good relationship love t.i.p. Far as I’m concerned anything I can do for him or grand hustle I will do. We also came out around the same time. I’ve been flowing t.i.p music since I’m serious. So at that time “my neck my back” was kinda hot at that time. So we kinda traveled and did shows at the same places. That record was a favor for T.I and and I didn’t even do the track “Pork Chop” for me, I did it for there upcoming album.

Question: The next question was tell us a few artist that will be on your album, but we now no you don’t do that.
Answer: Yes, laughs: there are no features on it. It’s all ThugMisses, I got two producers on the album one is from Macon, Georgia and really that’s it!

Commenting: Where can your fans go to see where you’re going to be at, do you have a website?
Answer: No, not at this time right now I’m really looking for a deal so I’m still independent and I’m doing everything on my own. Just like for like first time. I didn’t really have a lot of market and promotion because I was independent on thugmisses my first album. I really didn’t have a label be hide me. So at this like it’s the southeast region, so at this time it’s not a lot of big shows its more like radio shows and promotion shows, club dates. So I guess once the album comes out in July and then they can login to Khia.net to find out information about the tour. It’s really a promotion tour and I don’t really have all the dates.

Question: Well Khia this about raps it up, tell the people what you’re working on for the future.
Answer: Ohfor the future? Well I got a couple of movie deals I’m looking at right now. I was blessed to travel over seas and do very well over seas. I did good to sell over 800,000 independently with no “machines” was just a blessing to me. When I traveled to other countries I was blessed to meet a lot of people as far as movies and plays plus a lot of soundtracks for a lot of movies. So you’re be seeing me in a couple of movies. Look out for “My neck my back” perfume that’s coming out. Other than that when the album drops this summer which is entitled “Gangstress”. We are going to be a lot of difference things as far as the clothes and the perfume to promote the movies. They will be able to see me on the big screen and just doing a little bit of everything. I will be network and marketing all the way all the way around the board.
