Okay - let's kick some life into this forum. I'd say that if you're posting about a band/artist that you started listening to because you know them in real life then it should go in here, as essentially what you are doing is promotion, and that's what I'm doing here.
Well let me have a go at this lark.

I saw a band called Iconoclast a few times at Uni - it mainly came about one of my mates who I lived with in my Halls of Residence started up his own record label and booked a few shows and he managed to get supporting acts from his label with bigger bands headlining - Iconoclast being one of them. I liked them so much I bought the promo CD "I Don't Like The Music".

They are are a Liverpool based band. If I was to describe them I'd say they are Indie with influences from Cast, Beatles, Stone Roses, Oasis amongst others. The official website is www.iconoclast-web.co.uk . You can listen to some of their songs here http://www.iconoclast-web.co.uk/music.html - I recommend the whole of the "I Don't Like The Music" EP.

Just listened to "Don't Like The Music" and it's really good stuff. I'd still say my two are better, but meh icon_razz.gif

Good luck to them, I say, they're as good as a number of bands out who are successful today.
