For a supposedly professional company, LastFM has a LOT of outages and problems. They had that problem with pictures showing up and people not being able to change their avs for about two weeks, and now this :-?

At least the site's back up and plays submitted without being lost. It seems to be working better now, but some image links are still broken.

oh no, lastfm deleted all the scrobbles of whitney's preacher's wife soundtrack.. and suddenly she lost 100 plays on my artists total. disgusted. :evil:

unfortunately it won't. I found out what the problem is. LastFM tagged I Love The Lord not any longer under Whitney Houston but under Georgia Mass Choir/Whitney Houston that is why Whitney lost 74 plays from that song alone. Does anybody know how I could change that again? And I even have auto-correct on for song and artist names.

There's someone on LastFM who listens to Anastacia noon-stop, he has managed to rack up over 29,000 plays for a single track!!!

And over 75,000 plays in total for her. :lol:

I love her too but just no.

impressive achievement. I cud never listen to a song 29,000 times. i might need 50 years to reach that. My alltime #1 song on Lastfm has barely 420 plays.

It it is credited incorrectly go to the English last.fm forum and ask for a correction. I do that sometimes, but you have to be VERY patient.

I guess some people just leave their houses and keep the music playing all week long while on holiday. It is like their pet and when they come back it greets them hello. I would never do that, I love my statistics and have slight OCD on that.

My #2 has 728 and #3 609!

I think that Anastacia person must have cheated somehow, cos there's only so many songs you can listen to in one day! My #1 has 13,500 plays almost (Girls Aloud) but that's over 7 years almost :lol:

I'm on 46 artists on 1000+ plays now, I can't wait till my entire top 50 is that 8-)

Well he is literally listening to her constantly everyday, every time I look at his profile he is listening to her! :lol:

He got a little upset once when I was stunned he'd played one of her songs about 400+ times in one day.
