Yeah me too! Hope it's finally coming when the next single has been put out...
I know, they better put it out with the next single, and make sure it's a song that will explode worldwide.

I think that the album would have had massive numbers if released in the US along with 'I Need A Doctor', however if they release another big single worldwide, that should create sufficient hype worldwide and hopefully give the album massive sales worldwide.

I so hope the rumour about a Beyoncé and Jay-Z duet is true, that would be fiyah! Hopefully that's why the album's pushed back...

I don't think worldwide should be the main focus! Of course it would be good with another crossover hit that does well in other countries aswell, but he seriously also need something for Urban radio!

Urban & Rhythmic listeners were the reason why Drake & Nicki opened with amazing numbers last year!

And i big Eminem has a big part in the success outside the US, so I Need A Docter wouldn't make the album massive outside the States!

I don't think Dre cares about singles success. He will open with massive numbers anyways. WHOLE HIP HOP COMMUNITY has been waiting for Detox for 10 years.

I know he will open with big numbers anyway, but why are they holding off the release then? The album isn't finished yet?

He has recorded at least 100 tracks for album, according to Snoop Dogg. But Detox still isn't finished.
Dr. Dre wants Detox to be masterpiece, that's why he still works on it. Sales aren't so important at that point, he will sell good anyways.

via rap-up.com

Detox will have to wait. Dr. Dre is planning to take a brief break from recording, once again delaying his long-awaited album.

“I’m gonna just wrap it up for a minute because I’ve been working on music for 27 years now and the longest I’ve ever been out of the studio in 27 years has been two weeks,” the hip-hop icon told FADER TV.

But that doesn’t mean he’s hanging up the mic. “I’m never gonna stop music. It’s like air to me,” he added. “I’m gonna take a little bit of a break, enjoy some time with the family, until I get that itch to get back in.”

While Detox is not on his priority list, the business mogul has been spending his time promoting his Beats by Dr. Dre headphones and working on developing his artists Slim the Mobster and Kendrick Lamar.

Dre must be joking. He've been talking about Detox for 10 years, everybody (Snoop, Em, 50, Game..) are talking about his upcoming masterpiece.
Now he says he's tired and wants take a break. What the hell he've been doing since 2005-06?
I can't

Me too! It's just utterly ridiculous. The fact he's kept delaying it is only going to put more pressure on him to deliver something incredible. I don't think we'll ever get it now.

Maybe he's not happy with the material so far...

By the time he eventually does release it, I'd be surprised if there is anyone left who cares!

I think he could have had a successful album if he had released the album in March following Kush & I Need A Doctor! Now i think it will take alot more for him to succeed, when the album finally will be released during Xmas 2013 (A release prediction)! :-?
