Will I use Napster when it's no longer free?

NO. Because it has never been the source for getting ie. BUYING music, but for trying music for me. It's like with record stores - you have a bit of a hassle standing there listening to your CD, like you have to go through all the hassle of downloading the mp3 for the 10th time because it never finishes.

Tell me, why should I pay for that?

Example:
Heard Lara Fabian on the radio, loved it, my sweetheart found it for me on Napster, I loved it even more. Guess what happened then? I bought the CD single, album, another single, another album and so on.
Did THAT hurt the record industry and the artist?? Should I pay extra money for the priviledge of hearing a song before I buy it? Don't think so!

The same happened with Yanni, Jessica Simpson, and lots of other acts.

And what do you think?

I'd have to say no.

Then again I hardly use it now. Napster have done a great job of crippling their software, the last usable version was 2.0B3, since they took out Resuming they removed one of the most useful features.

Ah well... Shame...

No. The whole attraction was to get unreleased/rare songs that I couldn't find elsewhere, or to hear songs before I decided to buy them/before release.
