Candyman, apparently she's preparing something for her fans for near the end of the year or even sooner theres alot of speculation on her forum, it could be a new single from a new upcoming album, who knows!

@ emilhot I don't think she'll release 'Defeated' now it's a little too late imo but who knows if she does release anything from 'Heavy Rotation' it should be 'Defeated'.

She really is as mad as a hatter though isn't she? :lol:

Not sure, very good crowd though, and I think she was really impressed because they were all really into it.

I'll hazard a guess at 8-10k, its a really impressive venue right alongside Osbourne House.

OMG I thought it was like a small venue of maybe 1-2k! Mick still packs a crowd!!!

Sorry, it was an open air concert in the grounds, so really, they can accommodate as many as they like. But yeah I'd say about 8k for Simply Red Sunday and about 5k for Anastacia on saturday.

Luckily Leon Jackson didn't turn up which raised a big cheer from the crowd when they announced it. lol

Escala were quite good though.

The concert in Azerbaijan, which replaced the cancelled concert in Russia has been cancelled now too. For reasons unknown, but we know better.

All of the concerts in East Europe have been cancelled. Lithuania, Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Because of unknown problems. The company who has a contract with her team probably messed things up.

First concert in a month tonight! Romania.

Only the Baku conert has been officially cancelled so far. Don't forget Romania is part of Eastern Europe too.

Anastacia: Papparazzi don´t take pics of me in America.
While being questioned about her privacy, she becomes more aware and doesn´t wanna talk much about it. Yet she is very honest about her music career and can even talk about the negative things with ease. American singer Anastacia also answered a few questions for pravda.sk before her gig on Saturday.

What are you recalling about your first performance in Bratislava 4years ago?
That day we were performing outside and i´m quite happy we are not performing in an open air today. The weather is not very good and i like indoor concerts better. And i can also manage the performance better and i can have my fans more under control. And they won´t get wet as well if it was raining.
And what has changed? My record label and management, as well as my image. I changed my hairstyle a little bit, took my glasses off, had a laser surgery and u wouldn´t believe what reactions it made when i appeared without my glasses for the first time.

Did your fans protest?
I was surprised myself. I have never been realizing too much how long i had been wearing my „second eyes“ and when the posibility of taking them off came, i simply did so. And the reactions like „What have u done, Anastacia?“ followed. I´ve never realized how different i look like without them. Ppl actually could always see just my lower part of the face, the nose and the chin, the upper part always stayed under some kind of a mask.

But u have got very beatiful eyes.
Thank you (laugher). U know, even the fans told me i have beatiful eyes, but they didn´t forget to tell me that it´s not me without them. Everyone probably needs a time to get used to the changes. But i think this phase is over now.

Why did u decide to have your eye surgery? Did your contact lenses and problems with the sight limit u in some kind of way?
If the posibility of being able to indulge yourself beatiful things and experiences, which u miss out on because of wearing glasses exists, then i´d recommend a sight surgery to everyone. I desired to see new things, for example diving. I could go under the water before, but i could never see that beauty. I don´t wanna miss it, i don´t wanna give up that beaty we still have, i was longing for seeing it through my own eyes.

In the recent interviews u said that in the moment u r having the happiest times. Why did it come with your last album Heavy Rotation?
It is my first album after i survived the breast cancer. The battle with this ilness was a very hard life experience for me and i sooo needed to make an „after-cancer“ album so i could move on to the next record. Of course i don´t wanna put down the artistic value of Heavy rotation. I love every single song on it. But in some kind of way, the album is connected with the hard times in my life. The album is literally not connected with the word „cancer“, but while promoting it i was still given the same questions about this topic. Everyone was asking me about the breasts. But i was thinking, „guys i´m a singer. Ask me about the music!“ But the questions about this ilness, about the hard times was probably essential. That gave the darkest charakter to the cd but at the same time it helped me to grow personally. Nowdays, i ´ve been much more realizing what the life is about. Sure, i´m not perfect. I still have my own issues but i´m not so much oversensitive now, as i used to be. The things i used to have problems to cope with, i can handle now easily.

Ok, we won´t ask you about the breasts then, but what about the children?
I don´t wanna talk about the kids. we need to protect them.

I ment if u r not planning on having your own ?
We are upbringing two children of my husband and we are happy. I don´t have a need of planning on more kids. The biological time is not ticking for me.

You are much more popular in Europe than u r in your homecountry America. Do you know why? Are there any actual reasons why your music is more appealing for en European listeneres?
If i had known the right answer, maybe i wouldn´t have been sitting here (smile). The differences between accepting my songs in Europe and America were already made in my first album. The first single I´m outta love had a big succes in Europe whereas behind the ocean nothing big happened. The new attempts came with the second album Freak of nature and the first single was chosen by the Sony director himself, Tommy Motola himself. Then i wanted the song Why´d you lie to me to be the next single,but he chose One day in your life. This single wasn´t very succesful in america, i think it was because it´s very similar to I´m outta love song from my debut. Of course, it´s just my theory that doesn´t have to be true. But then i decided not to release my third album in america. But about a year ago, Sony contacted my lawyers if they could relase the album. The album was illegaly downloaded by aproximately million ppl so when releasing the last album Heavy rotation , i changed my mind and let the album to be released also in America.
But frankly, i´m not an american artist, i´m just the holder of american passport. Eventhough in my homecountry i gained the contrats with the record companies, it ´s not the place where my career would be prospering. I gave in. The american fans may be a bit frustrated, european fans might not understand why is it like that. Actually even i myself don´t get it. However, it´s a reality and i´m ok with that. And i kinda like the way how it is. I can have my private life in USA which the famous singers can´t have. I walk through the streets in Beverly Hills and paparazzi don´t take the pics of me. That´s very pleasant.

And what about the new album? Have u already got some records prepared, the imagine what they are gonna sound like?
Honestly, i don´t but i´m very much looking forward to the time of recording the new songs. I´m not used to on planning in advance. It´s my philosophy, i don´t focus on my future, i live in this moment. But i´m completely sure about one thing. I´d like to have the similar producer as Glen Ballard was, who i was cooperating with on album Anastacia in 2004. He was very dominant which helped to my records. That´s why i´d like to intend , in the case i´ll make new records with different producers, the cd to be under the wings of one person who will lead it with his firm hand. The person who can direct a team and lead it to the best result of a team work. I´m the artist who has a lot of aspects and i need a person who can get the best of each of them.

Looking at the websites to Universal Music Group, Island Def Jam and Mercury Records none have Anastacia listed as an artist anymore, has she been dropped?

I really hope not, they need to give a chance to make another album, I know Anastacia can be big again! I love her so much I really don't want her to give up! But on the other hand these sites are always wrong so... 8-)
