I think she would do the best as Sprock Lady, hapilly noone seems to trying to copy her style ...

but as a fan of her pop songs, I hope for good remixes ...

^ I must admit, I wasn't interested in remixes previously but some of Anastacia's remixes are brilliant!

And it's true no one I can think of at the mo has copied her sprock style, P!nk does a little I suppose but she's not as effective! 8-)

Album is pretty good effort.. She even had quite a big promo for it also, but what went wrong were terrible single choices... I can't believe that after flop I Can Feel You they went with Absolutley Positevley to save album, what they were thinking..

If the singles were:

1.Heavy Rotation
2.Defeated
3.I Call It Love
4.Same Song/I Can Feel You

this would be another besteseller album for her!!

Atleast her "Heavy Rotation" tour was moderate success and showed that people still cared for her!!

Yeah I think a few things contributed to such a drastic drop in sales. Her image was horrible as were her live performances, the lead single was very limp and it took me (a massive fan) ages to like it. Not good.

Her lead single needs to be great this time round, if Ne-Yo gets near her, I'll shoot him down myself.

I also must remind that during that period(I don't why) but British press was brutal to her.. They really did damaged her image a little bit..

and yeah crazycrazy, I remember ages ago Anastacia said in goofy way on twitter, that Ne-Yo will not thouch her music ever again :lol:

I really like AP, but it was not a good single choice at all, the only one song on the album that would have been a good single is Defeated, however generic it is. :-?

Not a bad album but definitely my least favourite from Anastacia.

I was just reading her discography, she had 3 albums that were 3x platinum in the UK!!!... and then this one didn't even go GOLD! Why is that? Looks like a DIDO to me !

^ I think it was just a big change for Ana fans, her image, sound was just different and different in a not so good way.

Yes the press she had was bad as well, poor Ana, oh well hopefully her next album is better received!

She is my favourite pop star ever, it would be such a shame if she was not around any more she is fantastic!

LOL at my excitement in this thread!

I was a 100% stan when I joined! :oops:

My journey with this album...at first I played it like there was no tomorrow and loved it, after a while I realised the album was not that good and was lacking something big, after not listening to it for a long while, recently feel like it is a solid album in fact! It is so diverse but having said that it still is probably her weakest for me.

Happy for a new album from her this year, can't wait!
