Stephanie born August 5, 1987?) is an American born Japanese singer, DJ and actress. Currently residing in Tokyo, she is signed onto Sony Music Japan and is a student at Aoyama Gakuin University's school of law.
Born to a Japanese mother from Yamaguchi Prefecture and an Armenian father, she is a Japanese citizen. She is able to sing the whistle register.

AKB48, they have sold over 13 million singles in Japan, they have had 6 consecutive 1 MILLION CERTIFIED SINGLES there... and they sell from 950K to 1.2 million singles in the 1st day of release !! Their latest one released las month has sold 1.7 million copies so far, and they are said to have grossed over $200 million in records sales in 2011, making them one of the most succesful acts in the world... they even have special AKB48 STORES in Japan, with overseas expansion in Korea, Singapure, and Hong Kong, they're called the ultimate music phenomenon in Japan as of now... WOW! :O !!

They also have an ANIME under their name started this year...

This group is disposable IMO.. it's so weird to see all these faces, they all look the same to me... and it's obviously a product, a very-well marketed product, but wow... those sale are HUUUGE, they're settin' records in Japan right now...
