The Dark Horses are without doubt Poland,who will beat Germany and top their group!

They could go far,until they lose to Spain in the final or Semi Final.

I'd love for Spain to win it this year.

Not sure why but I've always supported Spain and its always so disappointing to see them knocked out so early on.

Football is my subject speciality

Spain: Just like england, they always fail to deliver but at some point things will go right for them - Runners Up

Italy: World champs, but the loss of Cannavaro and a lack of pace may hurt them - Semis

France - they still have great players, Henry and Gallas and old timers like Thuram. Young stars like Benzema look good to - Winners

Germany - Lack of quality keeper may hurt them as Jens Lehmann is a joke. But they always do well so i'd say semis

DARK HORSES
Croatia- they would have won this tournament if Eduardo was not smashed to bits - lack of quality striker may hurt them

Russia- good, skillfull and pacey players. They have a decent group so i'd say quarters minimum. Plus Guss Hiddink is a legend

Greece - They are very hard to beat. They need to start praying to Greek gods now if they have any chance of winning

Portugal - Cristiano and co always look good, but i think they dont have the strength in depth to maintain a challenge

Holland - wont make it past group of death (with FRA and ITA) - no big stars any more. The young kids are coming through and Van Persie is not 100% fit

dont underestimate them

i cant see a 5-1 v spain

i'd say 2-1 spain

fabregas man of match

I used to like Holland as Dennis Bergkamp used to play for them, but now i dont care as much

with no engish participation at least penalties wont make me so nervous!

^Yeah, Russia to win, now that Dima Bilan has been confirmed in goal for them. What with his violinst and ice-skater accompaniment, no team will be able to get a goal past them.

The first 4 games revealed 0 surprise. Czech Republic, Portugal, Croatia and Germany all won their respective games. I guess the first surprise will come from Romania tomorrow.
