Dude, you just totally copied my joke from an earlier post. There was just no need - and you can tell from the response that it wasn't even that funny.
 I didn't even know. Sorry. I was being serious, though. There are A LOT of Mariah, Madonna, and Leona fans on the site, and I didn't want them attacking me.

* The world's biggest sellers are all overrated by a lot, which include Madonna, The Beatles, and Elvis. That does not include Celine and Mariah.

* Jpop is good music!  Perhaps the best out of them all.

* Lord of the Rings is pretty lame.

*John Lennon's music, "Imagine" included, bores me to tears.

*Angelina Jolie really isn't that attractive. She seems like a right bitch (Team Aniston I guess).

*I find it hard to sympathise with morbidly obese people - especially if they complain about being fat.

*People who glamorise smoking in any way, e.g saying they "love" cigarettes need to be slapped very hard.

*Nickelback aren't that bad

*I agree with the death penalty in some instances. If someone kills a relation of mine, the only punishment I see fit is death

*Harry Potter is a work of literary genius, and people who scoff at it just dont have the capacity to appreciate fiction

*Chocolate ice-cream, cake, or anything with chocolate besides a chocolate bar is disgusting

*People whose music taste includes The Beatles, Metallica, Simon & Garfunkel, Rolling Stones, etc., think that just because they love this music, anyone who doesnt like it and likes new or more poppy stuff... has no music taste/doesnt appreciate lyrics/takes no depth or meaning from music/is uncultured/is unmoved

Mcfly have written some of the best pop songs of the 21st Century - cancelled out by the fact their image is in tatters but it is true.

The following bands are just awful: Scissor Sisters, Alphabeat, Manic Street Preachers, All Saints, Westlife, Scouting For Girls, Nickelback, Steps, S Club 7, Take That and The Feeling.

Not wishing to cause a fight but a lot of people assume I like some of them and I just dont! And also anytime I hear songs by these bands in clubs, I immediately want to orb myself to Europe.

Just because someone has a strong voice - i.e Celine, Mariah, Christina Augilera, Leona etc does not mean they are a better singer and they have better songs than people who's voices aren't as a strong. I'd have Kylie's whispery vocals over them lot any day. It's just noise.

iTunes is just really not that great. I know other websites that sell songs cheaper and don't have DRM on them.

People who go on and on about how many copies songs or artists have sold, really need to get a life and just appreciate music for music. Yes, it is good when an artist sells a lot, own it, use it but just because an artist sells a lot does not automatically mean the song is good and therefore anyone who doesn't like it is wrong.

People with 19,000 posts on UKmix are sad.

Agree with this one, probably more of a popular opinion actually! And I'd say not sympathising with obese people is something a lot of people I know would agree with, myself included - do some exercise, go on a diet and STOP EATING CAKE!

I sort of agree, but at the same time it really isn't their fault and even if they put a lot of effort into it, results aren't guaranteed. I'm quite the opposite, I really want to gain weight, and I find it nearly impossible :P but I'm not going to complain about it, I just hate when I get comments like "Are you anorexic or bulemic?" or "You're never going to find a man if you remain that thin"

well, since I sense it, erm, somehow includes myself..
yes, I think that majority of recent pop music is pure crap - mind you, it wasn't always like that, even early 00s brought some great pop
my opinion: pop songwriters got lazy, copy their own songs or songs they heard somewhere else, their lyrics are beyond bad, feel like they're generated by a computer programme and don't induct any personality or emotion, despite people's ability to somehow see depth in them.
a lot of rock music is crap too - indie turned into just a bonus to pop music, something for pop fans to feel like they listen to something more "serious" too. Scouring For Girls? Kooks? Nickelback? pop music

and yes, there is such thing as a bad taste

> A female better DON'T give me the impression that she knows more about fashion than me. Male are predestinated to rule the fashion industry, so DON'T even dare to step into my business woman! :P
