OMG! You guys know my best friend? The only thing we DON'T agree on is musical taste.col89 wrote:x2.westhammer wrote:*People whose music taste includes The Beatles, Metallica, Simon & Garfunkel, Rolling Stones, etc., think that just because they love this music, anyone who doesnt like it and likes new or more poppy stuff... has no music taste/doesnt appreciate lyrics/takes no depth or meaning from music/is uncultured/is unmoved
I know some examples of that personally or even just from this site.
Agree with this one, probably more of a popular opinion actually! And I'd say not sympathising with obese people is something a lot of people I know would agree with, myself included - do some exercise, go on a diet and STOP EATING CAKE!col89 wrote:x2.westhammer wrote:*People whose music taste includes The Beatles, Metallica, Simon & Garfunkel, Rolling Stones, etc., think that just because they love this music, anyone who doesnt like it and likes new or more poppy stuff... has no music taste/doesnt appreciate lyrics/takes no depth or meaning from music/is uncultured/is unmoved

I sort of agree, but at the same time it really isn't their fault and even if they put a lot of effort into it, results aren't guaranteed. I'm quite the opposite, I really want to gain weight, and I find it nearly impossiblebut I'm not going to complain about it, I just hate when I get comments like "Are you anorexic or bulemic?" or "You're never going to find a man if you remain that thin"
