I love how they just turn characters gay after a few years with no prior indication.

I know!
It gives false hope to all those gay men that fancy their straight friends.

I literally can't watch this now. Brendan is the worst, most unlikaeble, unbelievable character they've ever had.

Yeah they did that to John-Paul & Craig as well.

It's strange how Ste has change from wifebeater to shirtlifter in the space of a year or so.

Even the upcoming Hollyoaks Later seems boring from the trailers, especially as it involves those Costello brothers. It'll be hard to beat last year's parachute death. I'm considering giving up on this show again but I'm going to keep watching until after the big fire and Steph's death as they've been promised to be brilliant, so let's see if they deliver.

Hmmm HOL3 doesn't look too bad.

I mean [SPOILERS]

Nancy gets gang raped.
Bart gets stabbed.
The Costello boys get drugged and beaten.
Theresa gives birth.

The main website has got loads of pics on it today as it's the 15th anniversary reminds you how good it once was especially with this lot http://www.e4.com/hollyoaks/pictures/sp ... r-index=16

Warren's coming back. I'm sure it was him breaking into Chez Chez.

Is Darren Day a proper cast member or just temporary? Seems silly that we have three villains on the go at once. Day's hard-man cockney accent is hilarious! Knowing what a douche he is in real life, i just cannot take him seriously!

Yeah Darren Day's character is useless!

I think Mandy is in on the Warren thing.

Northampton got me to like this again  Of all places.

Why is Ste suddenly gay? Why can't he be bi? That's always irritated me about TV shows - they're either one or other, like when Jean Paul fancied Craig when he was going out with Hannah.

Spoilers for next week say Raes new look makes an impression on Ste. I don't think he is gay he's just having a gay relationship right now so thats how he's categorized himself.

It's so pathetic how Warren is just wandering around perving on Tom in broad daylight

He's always been gay, he's only just accepted it. He's talked about fancying that guy in his offenders thing then when he got out he just went straight back to Amy as he felt that was what was right (he explained that in an interview). Rae was a cover up.
I always thought this was obvious.

I think he's keeping an eye on Mandy but yeah, it is silly as someone else would definitely see him.

I think this whole 'Ste being gay' stuff is well-acted but all a bit sudden. Yes, he said somethign about fancying a guy but we haven't had any other hints in the three years prior to that in which he was in the show.

To be honest, I think if the actor weren't gay then this storyline wouldn't exist .. just sayin'.

Well, as I said in my last post I've only very recently got back into watching Hollyoaks, but I used to watch it when Ste was apparently "straight" so I'll let Spartan's well-said quote do the talking for me here:

First episode of explosion week was pretty slow but it should get going now - it looks like we're being led it's Warren that's done it but I think it's actually Phil.

It seems obvious to me that Malachy's a goner, now he's just got back with Mercedes and she wants a baby. I'm also going to guess at Steph and Dom as being other deaths.

Steph quoting this classic tearjerking song:

Nicole Kidman also sang this portion in Moulin Rouge!

Hopes for iTunes effect

E4: SPOILER

:o Rae looks gorgeous! "I just want you to be straight with me". :o He MUST be gay.

Not sure i liked how Steph went. Seemed a bit convenient to me - just to suit the producers. Quite why she would choose to go that way seemed odd. It was like she didn't even try to get out.

Some very sad stuff on First Look. Don't wanna say much more until tomorrow and everyone's seen it.
