Well the Second Test has now been won by the Aussies. The boys are on a roll, great batting by Clarkey and the veterans and good bowling by Hilfy, Patto and Siddle.

Argh, why do I have to be out when all the exciting stuff happens? :x I missed watching the 2nd day when Ponting scored his century (although I did hear it via some old guy with the wireless on a bus) and Clarke scored his first 2 centuries. Luckily I got to see him make 300+, although I missed (again) seeing us close out the match.

I echo your sentiments Mr Sandgroper. Roll on Perth and make it 3-0!

I think I may have to eat my earlier words about India steamrolling us this series...looks like we're the ones steamrolling them!

Well done again to David Warner for his century efforts last night. Well played against some bad bowling and fielding from the Indians. Love the way he brought up his century too - a massive 6 - and his little celebration afterwards. He's long been a player to watch and its great to see him get another big innings. I hope Ed Cowan can do the same today, would be nice to see him crack a century too.

Also well done to our bowlers. Nice to see Mitchell Starc pick up some wickets yesterday after all that toil. Hilfy & Siddle are on fiiiiiiiiiiiire!

And yet again we've wrapped it up within 3 days...or 2 1/2 to be exact. Well done yet again to our boys, we're certainly on a roll now and I hope it stays that way. I think the tide might be finally turning for us!

India on the other hand look a bit like we were about 12 months ago. I wonder if they will have the courage to turn the adminstrative and team side of things upside down....although I think there'll be more burying of heads in the sand first.

India look like a demoralised and beaten side no resistance what so ever. Dohni the captain can not play in the next match because of a slow over rate infringement. Aussies looking good apart from Marsh who will need to get some runs in a hurry.

Well done to Mr Clarke & Mr Ponting again for their excellent innings respectively. Let's just hope we can steamroll India and make it 4-0!

This will be the first Test in the series to go past 3 days methinks!

Shame Ricky or Clarkey didnt bat for 5 days and get to 1000 not out

that would really hurt India

India are a shambles, buts its ok. They have some ODI's to look forward too if they can be bothered!

8-) Great stuff Aussies whitewashed the Indians 4-0.
The Aussies seem to have turned their game around I think a big thanks goes to Craig McDermott the bowling coach who seems to have got the bowlers putting the ball in the right areas and well done to Langer for helping to get Ponting and Hussey back on track with their batting.

Great stuff indeed. Well done to our boys. Let's hope the winning feeling continues in the 20/20's and ODI's. We're 1 point off climbing to #3 in the Test rankings (and therefore leapfrogging India or SA) apparently.

That NZ vs Zimbabwe one-off Test was a shambles, with Zimbabwe all out for 51 in their first innings & were heading that way in the 2nd (all out for about 140 odd in the end, Kiwis winning by an innings and 300+ runs). I don't think the latter or Bangladesh should really be playing Tests tbh.

Can't be the best team or one of the best teams in the world if you can't (consistently I add) win away from home! :P

India has most of the cricket money and power so unfortunately they get what they want. I think the Aussies are in trouble in this match now unless they get quick wickets tomorrow.

Er, ok....

India can't even beat us in a 20/20 match, even with a short rain delay. Matt Wade was sensational. Forget about Brad Haddin I say! Dave Warner of course was his usual self...don't know what Mark Taylor was complaining about, I loved the switch hit DW did!

Friday's match should be fun. I love Brad Hogg's antics when he gets a wicket, hopefully he can get some more next match. You can tell he loves his cricket and is loving playing in the limelight again.

I like the switch hit too but what the bowlers are complaining about and commentators is they are resticted in how they can dismiss batsmen ie cant be given out LBW if ball pitches outside leg. Me thinks remove all the rules and we call it even.

Thus proving my point above about not being the best team in the world if you can't win/can't consistently win away from home. India & England better take note of that one.

Indian batting great Rahul Dravid, the second most prolific batsman in the game's history has bid adieu to Test cricket, he has had a wonderful 16-year career. Good luck in retirement mate you seemed a gentlemen and a good bloke. :P

Whole India is chanting Sachin and Dravid's name. The whole country stopped working when Sachin crossed 90.

Congratulations Sachin. You truly are the God of the sport.

Though I do feel that for a glorious career like his, its a bit of an anti-climax that he scored his 100th 100 against Bangladesh, that too in a match which we ended up losing.
