part of me feels so out of touch with my old chart. Maroon 5 have some of my most played songs ever on there because in 2007 I loved them, yet now today I wouldn't put them in my top 200 artists. Plus, Tori and NIN are probably both a little too high considering I was huge into them at that point but have cooled off both a lot (even though I did listen to Fat Slut the other night lol)

I don't like your #7. Never liked them since my school days. We even had to do a Beatles musical once, it was horrible. Why did we have to sing our teacher's favourite songs.

Well I've only recently started trying them out because I was curious, I was surprised to hear so many songs that I already knew! No I think they were really good from the little I've heard mainly "Abbey Road".. :wink:

I kinda hate last.fm for not scrobbling half the stuff I listened to, and then doing others twice, so I scrapped the damn thing :lol:

I am with Bill on The Beatles. For years they used to bore me when I was younger, but mainly that was due to the moptop material. Once you get to Rubber Soul onward, it truly is magical and they really do deserve their stature. Abbey Road was a band going out on top (Let It Be came afterwards, but was recorded six months before Abbey Road) and then we had some wonderful Harrison and Lennon solo albums as well. Pre-RS and post-RS are night and day, and I think they were a much better band in the last half of their career compared to the more pop oriented work of their teen magazine era.

And the 1960s rule. Haha. I've actually been going through my collection of music chronologically and listening in that order. I should be entering 1971 tomorrow. This evening I listened to Abbey Road, Simon And Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water (IMO a lesser album next to the two S&G albums that came earlier) and George's epic All Things Must Pass.

^ My last.fm works very reliable. I use Winamp and Chrome Free Music Player to scrobble and it is very accurate. I have annoying problems with my iPod, though.
