I'm sure It's not anything around 6million at all.
We can't flat her sale but please do not underestimate it.

I think it's safe to say she has sold +180million recordsAnnDroid wrote:according to the BBC, it has.Bney wrote:Hasn't Baby One More Time single sold 8-9million copies worldwide?

The 100 million albums are shipped probably. And if fans of other artists (that I ain't mentioning) pretend shipments are sales, why can't we do the same?
I believe, however, that 100 million is too much.
But I do think she sold close to 200 million records.
Anndroid said she's shipped 100million album, not sold. And I believe that she's sold close to 100million single too (Maybe around 90million singles according to some sources at ATRL).04wayne wrote:I don't deal with under-estimations.Bney wrote:Hasn't Baby One More Time single sold 8-9million copies worldwide?

And AnnDroid - she has NOT sold 100m albums.
She hasn't sold remotely near 100m albums.
And 200m records? Are you kidding me with this sh!t?!
I don't know who's worse - the Britney fans, the Rihanna fans, or the Beyonce fans.
so, you cannot say she has not sold 150 million records, cuz the record is everything combined04wayne wrote:I know full well it doesn't include mastertones - it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a comprehensive list of mastertones for 99% of most artists and outside of the top 20 selling singles of the year, we know hardly anything [though certifications can tell us something, about some songs, in some countries].weare wrote:your estimation were not including ringtone/mastertone.
For example, Circus sold 5.5 million in a year WW (according to the IFPI report)
I'm sure she has passed 150 million records
So therefore, I didn't hazard a guess.

Mediatraffic isn't really "reliable" when you have numbers from her official website and livenation. We don't know how much those albums have really sold.MaxxBS wrote:Are you serious? The numbers reported by britneyspears.com or livenation are overestimated.
Mediatraffic isn't a very confiable resource but... is the only thing that we have to estimate the real sales :S
