"Promise" outsold "Diamond Life" in the US?!!?!! i did not assume that!

The album ended up selling almost 4m copies in the US with the follow-up, Promise, selling 4.5m (9.3m worldwide) – the first British black artist to hit that big in America.

Doing better on Jazz than Babyfather did. But it is Jazzier than Babyfather though.

I thought it would do better on the R&B/Hip-Hop..

good! i'm shocked by great european peaks, the tour definitely helped but it seems to hit even her loyal fanbase in other countries 8-)
