Mariah >> Britney anyday, so I'm (sort of) glad to see that Mariah is eclipsing Britney slowly to become your fave artist.

02.(04) P!nk - Blow Me (One Last Kiss)
03.(02) Mariah Carey - Lead The Way
04.(01) Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness
05.(RE) Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You (Best Comeback)
06.(18) Lana Del Rey - Lucky Ones (Greatest Gainer)
10.(05) Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
11.(06) Maroon 5 - Lucky Strike
13.(RE) Whitney Houston - Exhale (Shoop Shoop)
14.(11) Mariah Carey - Close My Eyes
15.(RE) Maroon 5 - One More Night
16.(RE) Maroon 5 - The Man Who Never Lied
17.(--) Maroon 5 - Wipe Your Eyes
18.(08) Lana Del Rey - National Anthem (Biggest Free Faller)
20.(RE) Whitney Houston - I Learned From The Best

Not really fond of Linkin Park in general tbh so I don't really care for much of their material. Pink's new single, while not as great as her previous efforts, is incredibly catchy and will be a Pop radio hit I suppose. I'm especially happy to see the amazing Maroon 5 tracks return and for "Wipe Your Eyes" debuting - that has been getting a lot of spings lately from me, too. And I'm more happy that "Close My Eyes" has managed to stick on your chart amidst all the new and re-entries - with the best one being, obviously, Whitney's all-time classic, "I Will Always Love You". That song never gets old and is a true representation of what Whitney is as an artist.

Linkin's new album is quite good, way better than the previous one.
I agree completely. "Lost In The Echo" is their best song since "New Divide" for me. :)

It's not quite as epic as I'd hoped it would be but it's definitely growing on me a bit more with each play.

well, you already know how I feel about "Blow Me" so far, so I won't take up much time on that now ;) on one hand, I'm glad to see "Wipe Your Eyes" debut....but on the other hand, I'm a bit sad/surprised that it could only manage No. 17. is that the Linkin Park effect (keeping M5 down in general today), or do you really just not like the song that much? little of both?

any rate, lovely to see those Whitney re-entries, of course. <3
Precisely! I have a feeling you are going to love today's chart.

Mariah and Britney both have an impressive discography behind their names. I'm loving MC's more and more each day because a lot of her music is still a recent discovery for me.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear you're not an LP fan. Their stuff can be a bit hit or miss but when they're good, they're very good. P!nk's new single is certainly not her best but the general public is sure to connect with the song's message and send it to the top of the charts (or somewhere close to #1). Maroon 5 might have a tough time keeping more than one song in my Top 20 today but I think you'll be pleased with the legend who'll be dominating today.

Gagich wrote:Nice to see Blow Me (One Last Kiss)! :D Hope to see Spirit Indestructible charting too... :P
Is that Nelly Furtado's new song? I haven't heard it yet so it won't debut today but I'll check it out so we'll see if it'll chart tomorrow.

9 Mariah entries? I'm here for that. 8-) 4 Mariah songs in your top 5 = a lamb. Though I'd rather have "Fly Like A Bird", "Butterfly" or "Whenever You Call" as your #1, "Vision of Love" is great as well, and definitely deserves the title of being the song that brought her to prominence. "Lucky Strike", while not my favourite from M5's new record, it's still a great song and judging by its chart performance, it seems to be your favourite off the record? "No Air" is a great collaboration and is probably my favourite Jordin song (Not that I listen much to here anyway ).

It's strange to see Mariah just at #10 in your artists chart! I've been following your chart for a while now, and Mariah seems one of the most successful artist, especially because she hasn't that recent material, but she always managed to chart with her older one!

:o  such...a...beautiful...chart! not only does Mariah occupy your entire Top 4, but almost 50% of the entire chart.

"Vision Of Love" is undeniably epic, so I'm certainly glad to see it become her 13th (?) No. 1 on your chart. also cute to see "Fourth Of July" debut, I was definitely playing that song (and actually quite a lot of Mariah) yesterday too. <3

I miss the show too. Edie was one of my fave supporting characters, probably my second fave after Andrew. Even though the show's ended, I take heart that they at least ended with dignity with a fabulous end.

You're likely to get your wish today, Tripolis. And yes, "Lucky Strike" is definitely my fave song off of Maroon 5's new record.

As for you not being a Jordin fan, if I may be so bold as recommend some of her songs to you, I'd suggest you check out "Permanent Monday", "Freeze", "Watch You Go", "No Parade", and "Let It Rain". I know I'm a bit biased but I really think her discography (short as it may be) is terrific.

It's strange to see Mariah just at #10 in your artists chart! I've been following your chart for a while now, and Mariah seems one of the most successful artist, especially because she hasn't that recent material, but she always managed to chart with her older one!
I'd go as far as to say that MC's been the most successful act on my chart for 2012 thus far. She spends an awful lot of time inside my Top 5's just lingering a bit away from the top spot. She is going to score her 14th #1 here today though. 8-)

You're correct. "Vision of Love" becomes MC's (unlucky) 13th #1. Much like you, I played "Fourth of July" today especially for the occasion. Don't expect to see it again today.

Fantastic that Lost In The Echo topped your chart. It is going to enter my chart this weekend, it could even Top my chart too :D
Good to see some classic Mariah Carey aswell 8-)
Ooh, that news makes me even more excited for your chart this weekend! :D "Lost In The Echo" is one of LP's all-time best.

Great to see Pink's new song still charting so high. Has it made it to #1 yet?
