Meanwhile, Keys first three albums - Songs In A Minor, The Diary Of Alicia Keys and As I Am – have been bundled together as The Platinum Collection, and sell 10,339 copies to debut at number 20. They have sold over 2m copies separately, with Songs In A Minor accounting for 1,092,639 of that total.

these sales are just SOUNDSCAN ONLY.
with BMG MUSIC CLUB SALES her debut EASILY MUST HAVE PASSED 7M UNITS!
and as Alicia's discography ain't so massive i bet US retailers do stock quite enough copies of all of her albums
EACH OF HER ALBUMS IS PROBABLY ELIGIBLE FOR one-unit HIGHER CERTIFICATION (excluding TEOF)

I'm sure, even if Alicia is successful, Beyonce sold more.
