Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed A Dream" album now also have the biggest one week sale for a female artist album ever too, beating Dido's "Life For Rent" by 12,000 copies ("Life For Rent" sold 400,000 copies back in 2003).
I always wanted Dido to keep that record too, like Britney's in America.
All of the boys & all of the girls are beggin' to fuck me.

In US, Britney will keep her record (1,3 million) for sure with the actual market... But I'm very happy of the amazing SuBo's result : she makes UK history today !

I'm sure HDD are well aware of the concept of Black Friday, Vana.

Without doubt and fortunately ! But my commentary just means than I hope the Black Friday was again more important for album sales than predicted by HDD, in particularly for her !

The Brits got a great musical taste, is much better to have Dido holding the record for best selling female album in a single week rather than Britney Spears and its much better to have Oasis with the fastest selling album ever in the UK rather than NSync holding the same mark in the US if I was an American I would feel ashamed, 'cause we all know that those US records hardly ever will be beaten.

Simple! Susan naturally made her point and proved the audiences and judges that her demeanor and talent go synonymous with her personality and wits.
She isn't THAT good BUT in comparison to what passes for talent these days (the pretty young things music capitalistic pigs bring to stardom now), she's fantastic.

I agree concerning the extreme difficulty to beat now the records in US : 2,4 million of N'Sync or 1,3 million of Britney will stay the all-time records with the decrease of the market. But I not agree concerning the "best" records in UK... It's just a story of tastes.

I very impatient too of course to know the final result of this first wee, but the second week will be crucial for to see if it's only a mega-seller in first week or if it will be really the best-selling album of this shopping season. And I know it's the second solution who is the good !

Ok Dido is so overrated and was very much of the moment in the early 2000's which is why her album since has vanished without trace. The same fate to fall Norah Jones I think. Also Oasis?!! Seriously the are the chav band from hell.
Not that Britney Spears or N'Sync are music gods.
Back to topic. Well done to Susan Boyle. If ever anyone deserved to be in the history books it's her. She clearly is teh champion of the underdog.
